In many countries it is illegal for your dog to not have a certificate that it is properly trained and usually the training has to do with the basics but mostly with social scenarios so the dog knows how to behave in public. Also in many places you need to chip your dog, register your dog to your authorities and sometimes local administration and submit their certificate of training.

59:20 I used my bedroom door lock 24/7 growing up, even if I wasn’t in the room because I had a key for it. I still lock my door to this day even if I’m the only one home. I had some delinquent adopted brothers that would steal anything they could get from me. Cash, controllers, laptops, earbuds, one time one of them took a little bookshelf out of my room and left all of the books spread across the floor in corner of my room. He used it to put his shoes in. Pretty sure he sold my laptop, got money transferred onto a PayPal he made, and used that money to buy weed. Another time he went into my room during a summer barbecue and transferred money into his PayPal off of my friend’s debit card. The feeling of having to protect your possessions in your own home is suffocating.

I know Connor won't read this, but if you want to get a dog get a Jack Russell Terrier. They fit your lifestyle. Energetic, love walking, love being outside, love going running and following you cycling, very vocal and smart to tell you what they need , medium size to have on an apartment without issues, can deal with heat and cold weather one of the easiest dog breed to manage, handling, keep clean and care for their nutrition for people new to dogs. I always recommend that one for new dog owners if they live a outgoing and active lifestyle. They are one of the brightest dogs you can have

I thought about these dogs in strollers when i visited Japan in October. At first i thought the same as you, but then i also came to realize that all the dogs are very tiny, and the streets in Japanese cities can be VERY crowded, so might the strollers just be a way of protecting the tiny dog when you move from your house to the actual space for your dog to be able to walk a bit more freely ? One thing that really got me mad though was seeing dogs with panties everywhere. Like the dog can literally not do their business outside until their owner remove the panties. WHY?!?
