Love the intro guys! Haha Gosh i wish they would upgrade all the models with clipless bodys! I been usin velcro for my bodys that itll work with, just got a bug body for my slash ultimate and i love how it doesnt collect dirt anymore and it doesnt seem to catch air. However i live in AZ and even with 2 motor fans with heat sink an an esc fan i can only drive hard an bash for like 10 mins on 3s at most. Only been in the hobby for about 8 months but ive got a nice collection and even made a lil track in the front yard. Id like to get my hands on those new tires n see how they do. Nice vid guys!

Another body change and claim it’s a new product from traxxas. Traxxas is a joke. It’s a slash an inch longer and a different body. Guy calls it quite a bit different 😂😂🤦‍♂️ it’s a slash with beefy drivetrain which should come standard but traxxas needs to sell junk and upgrade parts. This is a joke at best.

Great review thanks guys a very in-depth look at the truck. Definitely need an esc cooling fan and motor would be good too. I do this on my rustler 4x4 and haven’t had a lot of issues since with heat. I like this truck it looks like it’s fun to drive. I might get one since I don’t have a slash and like the realistic look. I think for the price I would have liked to see clear or actual tinted windows, and a full light kit in the body itself. That red looks better then I thought it did in pictures 👍

i just picked mine up yesterday it’s nice and fast and looks super realistic but i’m kind of disappointed it didn’t come with the long can maxx motor or even a completely new 4s system especially for the price your getting a 3s truck and not even a full light kit

Ooohhh... Those fender stickers are a disappointment.!!.. They look the same as (what used to be 😉) on my Slash Raptor 2wd.!? Along with the lack of fan, too weak motor/ESC, painted windows, basic shocks, lack of full lights... Especially when Traxxas expect us to pay at least £550 here in the UK.. I absolutely want one though, all those little things can be sorted out.... But it's highly unlikely that I will ever own one. I simply cannot justify that price.!! Traxxas are so hugely overpriced it's ridiculous... Here's a few examples... A TRX4 costs £620 A Hoss is £500, A Wide Maxx £600. Sledge £750 Even a basic 2wd Slash XL5 brushed costs £290.! It's not just Traxxas though, Losi & Axial are insultingly over priced in the UK too.! It's not entirely their fault because the UK is just such a highly taxed country.. There's a 20% VAT & 20% import duty... Also, since China is a "developing economy" 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 they get huge tax breaks on importing, shipping & selling their goods... Saying that though... Other American RC manufacturers can compete with reasonable prices, Associated/Element especially.. They're no more expensive than any other brand. So I'm sure Traxxas, Losi & Axial could find a way to be less gready... 🤔 Hmmmmmm... Perhaps Traxxas could save some money if they hired fewer lawyers.? 😉 😉 😂 😂 I truly appreciate it when people like yourself show us EVERYTHING, both good & bad.!!! 👍 👍 👍 👍 Thank you for a really great review guys.. I got the blacked out edition and love it! Great video btw. Edit: : 3:04 so did the TRX-4 Sport High Trail Editions. I attempted to put one on the Sport Edition and immediately said "screw this" and put it back on the paper with the other decals. They put all of the other decals on, what is 4 more? Not like it was a choice thing either, they do not ask if we want the other decals on. So once again, what is 4 more? I think they knew they were a little tedious and said, "Leave those for the consumer to bother with". Will be ordering the fans for motor and ESC.

I got mine and it’s cool but it’s nun that special the main reason I got it was beacuse it’s a raptor. It’s fast and all but the suspension isn’t that realistic, it doesn’t have a lot of travel and I wish they came out with a pro scale light kit with the amber lights and I hate the fender flare stickers tbh

Awesome honest and in depth first look review of this thing. It looks great the body and quality of build I’m not sure how much it costs but I have one fast rc car the hyper go rally car it goes the same speed but a little smaller than that, for 150 it came with dual fans on esc and motor, which really help, and 3 sets of tires including drift plastic ones. I know u guys are traxxas runners but I think this review was nice and genuine. Ps I do love traxxas but I’m on a big budget nowadays

Great video gents! I bought two and have been having a blast since Friday. Dont forget to tape up the bodies for tire wear (I made a video showing where on here) and they FOR SURE need cooling mods. Have yet to make it through a full battery before they thermal. Its over 105* out though and we are driving them hard. Have ordered Slash 4X4 cooling kit which I think will make the truck excellent. Have fun guys! Also I have no clue where those other two stickers go. Nobody seems to know yet. lol
