I bought one of those RMX 2.0 but the 2.5 was out for the same price . The 2.0 works good though . Good traxxas is trying to cover more areas in the hobby . How do I bind the traxxas radio , it’s from a maxx I’m not using and I I have a few TQi receivers and none are binded

traxxas support has a few vids on it hold the receiver button while turning it on after holding set while turning on the transmitter

I’m going to take my opportunity with it install the regular metal diff and cut the 4x4 4tec center shaft and make the diff stronger so I can make it a drag car with the losi mini drag car wheels and a couple other goodies

5:09 Thats a LDRC drift car. Now thats the best budget drifter on the market for under $60 bucks rtr and rwd!

Put it up against a stock mst 2.5 RTR or a yokomo yd-2z rtr out of the box I doubt it'll come out on top my big problem is if you buy the brushed yokomo it's 329.99 the brushed MST 299.99 and the traxxas at 349.99 not worth it in my opinion

I've owned 2 rmx 2.5 now and they're an awesome entry level chassis that you can upgrade all the way to competition level as you grow. The Traxxas you'll never make a comp worthy chassis out of.

The "handbrake" button look like a panic "Oh Crap I'm gonna spin out!" button, to cut it instantly for a second to try to recover it

Always love the videos, and it's always heartening to see your father/son dynamic. As an older gentleman who's recently had a child I'm looking forward to him being old enough to enjoy the hobby. -- By the way, great intro ... really good production value there. I'd love to see you guys play with the cars more. The talking heads is great ... but I think your channel would grow more if the ratio of talk to play was more like 70/30 vs the 90/10 it is now.

I bought the red cat RDS a few weeks ago and after using a 10 minutes in my driveway, I returned it. I had a very good feeling it would not work out for me because I know I’m not driving a half hour to go to a drift track and if I did, it would only be once or twice so it made really no sense for me to buy it, but I did because I read you could drive it on blacktop, but it sucked. And for $400 I did not want to keep something. I just sat on the shelf specially with space being a premium. I basically started in this hobby June 15 of this year and in a little over two months I bought close to 60 cars. I’m outside playing with a few of them right now in FedEx just dropped off another one today. I will post some videos of all the cars I bought from 1/5 scale all the way to 1/76 scale. RC‘s from $30 all the way to over $1000. And in the last two months, I found what I like and dislike what size works best like having too many 1/5 scales are not ideal too big to store or travel with specially if you want to bring more than one. And I realized I like bashing/speed first crawling second and drift is third specially cause that only drift. I don’t like it all. I may try to Traxxas because it comes with two sets of tires and I’ll see if one of them work on my driveway but the redcat RDS did not. Right now, I’m in front of my house playing with the 1970 losi Chevelle, I picked it up on sale for 169 and I liked it so much that I actually ordered the other color while it’s still on sale matter fact the sale ends today if anyone’s interested in getting one. But $169 (sale price) that car rocks.

@@3X7Outdoor either that or my ADHD gets a hold of me and when I get into a hobby, it’s a wrap luckily this happened at 51 when I could afford it and not at 21 when I would’ve been homeless lol. I have about 100 videos made. I just have to upload them. I’m not great at editing so I just may upload them raw just for the heck of it.

I think they should see how the new suspension design before they use it more other models because if it is crap then why put it on something else. That the thing every body want a new design and want it on everything but what if it's no good then all the models that got the new design is crap and is on everything

I can't in good faith call this good for entry level when there is 2 way better options out for cheaper. MST and yokomo both have better options. Traxxas better have a completely reworked chassis with more steering angle in the works or this will never make it on the track with other proper drift cars.

@@3X7Outdoor and possibly right back out of the hobby when they don't like drifting with a subpar chassis. That's my worry, they try this and don't like it. Anytime I see someone at a track running one I'llale sure they try mine so they can feel a decent chassis.

@@cd-pu5uv If you compare cars at for example SuperG, this car won't even come close. Firstly is the steering angle...it's really horrible and makes the car more prone to spin out frequently. Secondly is the 'gyro' which makes the car seem like it's going through hell trying to go sideways (the wobbles) 😂 Thirdly is the amount of weird settings which makes it difficult or almost impossible to tune and drive. All in all I wouldn't say this is a good car for beginners who want to join in the rc drift hobby PROFESSIONALLY imo. I will also agree that Traxxas needs to rework this chassis and get inspiration from other brands such as Reved, Yokomo and MST.
