this is great. hey have you heard of a stand alone ignition system? for example a nodiz ignition system? it's used for cars that don't have a distributor in engine swaps or for ppl who want to convert to carburetors. we're all different for me i love carburetors on a spitfire and i've looked into that in case in the future i need to engine swap. anywho.... great work.

Absolutely, I’m running a stand-alone (megasquirt) in my 94 cobra. It’s just not quite in the budget for this project, I’d like this to be a factory replacement ya know. I’m a huge fan of EFI so I’ll stick with how it is but it’s a good option!

So close to ignition. Its aways the electrics that takes so much sorting out. You ll get there I am sure of that.

Yup a 1.6l out of a 1990. I Recommend trying to source a non short nose crank model,
