What people forget is that the MSRP already has a decent profit in the vehicle. Then the dealer also could get a rebate from the manufacturer on top of that. Even accounting for inflation the prices are way too high. Finding an honest dealer can be pretty hard in some areas.

If you are wealthy, then I guess buy whatever you want. But for the rest of America, if you want to take out a mortgage just to buy an overpriced truck, which is now a luxury vehicle, then it's your call. Sadly, prices will only come down if people stop buying. I guess that will never happen. So, there's no going back at this point. Prices will probably stay high forever. That's the reality.

The way to get more affordable snd reliable vehicles is to get government out of the auto industry. Mandatory seat belts and airbags? Sure. Get rid of all the other expensive junk like rear view cameras, side sensors, and other equipment that should be OPTIONAL. If people want that stuff they will buy it. If not, they won’t. If the Willys Jeep was back on the market I’m sure it would sell like beer at a ball game. Inexpensive and reliable.

I found a few in 12/23 during my first video like this that were up to $7k off. It seems like most of the 2024s have already sold.

Hahaha, if that was in reference to the Bronco Raptor right after the F-150 then compared to a basic F-150 I do think the Raptor is much more cool and while not worth nearly 90k it’s a better value than the 85k F-150 since it’s a specialty vehicle.

These trucks are overpriced! Stop paying for trucks people can’t afford and when gas prices hit $4+ it gets even more painful at the pump.

Total joke, and they deserve it. I love Toyota, but they are building the Tacoma in Mexico, and it has been completely redesigned with a new motor line. So even thou Toyota has done thing this since 2001. They did it to put more profits and compete with the other manufacturers that are out sourcing aswell so lets make Tacoma's 8k cheaper but charge 12k more. To top it all off, the prices are absolutely insane. That goes to all car makers. Mass inventory should make the prices cheaper but nowhere affordable enough for the average hard-working individuals. I say to all car makers, you all deserve the mess you have made. Poor business planning greed and yes inflation has caused it all but greed is greed

Why do you keep posting essentially the same "the market has collapsed!" videos? You produce great content but these just feel like repetitive click bait videos at this point. Don't stoop to this.

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Surprisingly about 20% of the people who have subscribed and watch my videos have been from this type of video. So I partially feel obligated to keep making them, in addition to being very curious to what I look at in this video. At one point earlier this year I did a few in a month (which was to many, but I was also traveling further away), but the last few months I’ve made sure do only film this once a month. I may take a few months off or change the cover photo and title. At this point it’s kind of just a joke/silly video for me to see what’s going on and what vehicles aren’t selling. 😅🤷‍♂️ But I do hear your concerns and appreciate you sharing!!

@@AutomotiveAnonymous208obviously I am just sharing one random guy's opinion. I only spoke up because I generally find your channel very earnest and low hype. Maybe it's the fact that you feature 4Runners in the thumbnails and clearly no dealer is slashing the price on 4runners nor struggling to sell them. That's what makes it feel like clickbait as you keep repeating this tactic. That being said, I really enjoy your reviews and have found your content on your Outback has been very helpful and has me strongly considering one.

Your opinion matters, and I do really appreciate it! I film what I enjoy but also am persuaded to film what I know you guys want to watch based off of these comments. I totally get that. The first few videos like this did feature 4Runners, until I couldn’t find them lol. And the very first video with its thumbnail of $7k off was actually for that specific vehicle, a 2023 Limited back in 12/23. Again thank you!!

Sure, buy a "new" 2023 truck, get a $7,500 discount on it, drive off the lot and lose $20,000 of depreciation value in three seconds. DON'T BE THAT STUPID GUY!!

These prices are just ridiculous. I’ve been looking around for a car but I’ll never buy a new car again only going with a used car. I bought a Dodge Avenger in 2012 now it has 186,800 miles and I’ve never spent a dime on it except for normal maintenance. These dealers can keep this over priced garbage.
