Think abt this i never realy thought this makes sense in this video, in my mind it does and can be the true way about the balance in those 2 worlds, but wait, doesn't the portal that is conected with the human world has the crack in it, let somehow each different dark magic end up to make it be a disharmony magical object and so the human world be the yang part of the ying and yang power? But one thing is, can't the crack be finaly found and close it forever so there be no more evilness in the human world? Other side it does make the main 7 keep them busy to be heroes and bring harmony too as in the pony world, the pony world does the same.

@@demonanime3179 That's true. They could seal the crack but if they did, the law of conservation of energy would kick in. That means that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. So the magical energy would still be in the human would.

I think this idea is pretty interesting. It's Star Swirl who first discovered the Elements of Harmony, he could know about the existence of Element of Disharmony too. Human world is basically a dumpster to Star Swirl, he may tossed them into the human world in the first place.

In mlp episode mirror magic, Juniper Montage turned into a demon thing by her magic mirror. We saw the mirror normal until Juniper was near the sunglasses stall when a magic light blue aura touched the mirror and the mirror was transformed causing magic to exist in it. That mirror should also be an element of disharmony.

Cool video! Okay so, I think before you look at Elements of Disharmony (EoD) or the regular Elements of Harmony (EoH), I think we gotta look at magic by itself. The most logical comparison that we have to magic is pure energy, the way energy and by extension magic, works by itself is that it always seeks to balance itself out. So, the elements themselves wouldn't be doing the balancing, the magic itself would be, both kinds of Elements would be overflowing in magic, so if the EoD were in the human world, why did they take so long to start causing trouble? They only started AFTER a regular EoH entered the world thereby causing the imbalance by overcharging the amount of magic the human world had and so it started to disperse the excess magic in an attempt to balance itself out again, but because the EoD are agents of DISharmony, the magic they expend causes trouble. Ya get me?

Thank you so very much for the reply. Well, if there was no magic in the human world they wouldn't be active and no balance would be needed due to it already being balanced. By introducing magic to that world, you'd tip the scales and throw off the balance. Which would also activate the elements of disharmony to try and restore it.

@@WindStriker I meant that because the EoD are already in the human world, then there is already magic there but it appears "Inactive" because everything is in balance. But when the EoH is introduced that's what causes the elements to surge and go out of control which is what we see.

@@skarmex3439 I see. I agree with the part about the magic from the Elements of Disharmony attempting to balance the world but I can't say I agree with the world itself trying to balance it out. If that were the case, then most humans would be able to use that magic as well, since there would be a whole world with magic. It's more plausible that the magic from the Elements of Disharmony are what's trying to balance the magic from the Elements of Harmony. It would also explain why each event in the human world seems to be an isolated event.

Seeing as the Dazzlings’ necklaces worked perfectly fine together, and a point made in the original video was that the Elements of Disharmony worked better apart than together (unlike the Elements of Harmony), I wouldn’t add them to the list unless they’re included as only one Element, not three (Betrayal, or Gloom, maybe, swing as they make everyone argue?). Plus, didn’t EqG say that the memory stone was placed in the human world by Clover the Clever? The whole “created to counteract the magic in the human world” wouldn’t really add up if it was on the Potential EoD list. It would still make a good Element of Deceit, though. Some/All of these EoDs could be inferred as more than one Element, though, which could either disintegrate the theory or reflect more disharmony. If we rounded up every potential EoD in the shows and movies, then we would get some serious overlap. The magic hand mirror - Deceit and/or Greed Grogar’s bell - Greed The Storm King’s sceptre - Gloom and/or Greed Siren’s necklaces - Gloom and/or Betrayal The Alicorn Amulet - Magic The Element of Magic in the human world - Magic/a neutral between the other ten Vignette’s app - Cruelty(?) and/or Gloom That’s not even the potential Pillars of Disharmony(?), like Mistmane’s flower v. Poison Joke, or the Tree of Harmony v. The Everfree Forest, or even the Spirit of Harmony v. Discord. So much yin and yang.

This theory is pretty interesting! but still it doesn't settle down properly like the elements of harmony weren't natural they came from the tree that was planted by six ponies(the pillars of equestria) so maybe someone in the human world planted a tree of disharmony but it would take magic to do such thing so maybe the elements are present in the human world but not in the way they were present in equestria. Maybe the elements of disharmony exist in the world of equestria but beyond equestria like some other place out of equestria. For example tirek came from outside of equestria maybe he can repsent the element of betrayal (opposite of loyalty), sirens can represent the element of anger/unhappiness (opposite of laughter) and so on.

Hi I know this is 7 months late and I really do like you and Sawtooth’s theory! But let me point something out. Every time you suggest a corrupted evil gem or villain. Think of this What elements do make harmony? Friendship ( or magic ), kindness, honesty, generosity, laughter, and loyalty. These are the elements that DO make harmony. Harmony and DISharmony are the opposite so the elements I believe will be the opposite and also remember this, we do not need the gemstones in there glorious form, Qoute: “ Now I truly understand, the elements were just symbols. The real magic has always been right here.” And all the way to season one episode one “…the spirits of harmony!” This shows that it wouldn’t even matter if elements are gone (which they are known to be gone so…) Also, when Discord came back, this is actually a really nice episode! It shows us the opposite of the mane six. This is actually more helpful than thought. This shows the opposite of what the mane six SHOULD represent, that is where the elements of disharmony come from. Honesty in the opposite form is Dishonesty. Loyalty is now Disloyalty. Laughter is Gloom or Despair. Generosity is now Meanness. Kindness is rudeness. Friendship is Animosity. I do want to say something though, the villains and gemstones can cause disharmony and chaos, but anything or pony can cause this, which is why all we can do is tell the steps in how to do so. ( Go back to discord, and even the part in “Shadow play” season seven and watch the siren’s songs effects!) It is perfectly fine if you do not believe this theory but thank you for taking note of it!

You know I’m actually making a unique series similar to some other shows and I plan to have on my own elements but instead of the elements of harmony or disharmony it’s the elements of theater. Yes, I know it sounds weird, but I find it very interesting. Basically, I’ve made six unique gemstones that are kind of like the elements, but can be used individually like the elements of disharmony. The element of loyalty becomes timing the element of kindness becomes showmanship. The element of generosity becomes music. The element of honesty becomes teamwork, the element of laughter becomes the element of emotions the element of magic stays magic because Theater magic

Id say the elements of disharmony are just the elements of harmony but held by someone else! the gems are really just like tools to hold the magic that the owner already has inside them. twilight and her friends are able to defeat evil even without the gems, unlike the relics in this video where when the magic holder (dazzlings gems, time thing, memory stone, etc) was destroyed, the magic went away too. twilight can have friendship magic even when shes not wearing the crown. and to me, it just depends on the person holding the gem. take for instance, twilight should be the only one able to use friendship magic but somehow sunset was able to use it too! for evil! how would friendship magic be used... for evil?? because the gem itself isnt what counts. plus all the holders of the bad magic holders werent even true holders! they arent very good or connected to the magic unlike the mane six. sooooo for the elements of harmony to turn to elements of disharmony, we'd need an evil holder. like early sunset, gaia everfree, midnight sparkle or something. but personally... i think this adds some depthness to the elements of disharmony you pointed out here. if the elements of friendship can be used for evil, can the sirens gems be used for good? can the memory stone be used for good too? maybe that one fucking mlp eq song find the magic was an example of the dazzlings using their inner magic for good, and eventually the gems magic too! the memory stone could be used to help family with dementia or amnesia or maybe alicorns who have other memory issues?? the time reversing thingy can be used for when a good guy messes up and needs to redo something! kinda like that snake dude from miraculous ladybug! a second chance! the yin yang thing also shows that in one whole thing, there are two halves/sides. so theres and alternate side to every form of magic. it just depends on the intent!
