Very informative thank you. Just a quick note to add: You get a mandatory quest to unlock crafting sigils and salvage sigils by doing a tier 3 Nightmare dungeon. The only way you can get the tier 3 sigil is by continuously doing tier 1 nightmare dungeons until a tier 3 or higher drops. Took me 10-15 runs to get a T3+ to unlock crafting.

First time ever playing a Diablo game. I appreciate your video because there is so much things to digest and no fully comprehensible explanation. My girlfriend and I are level 70 by literallly frolicking around and stumbling into things. Accidentally joined people and helped them beat a boss to unlock tier 4. We have been doing helltides like crazy but hit the wall where we aren’t really getting higher level gear. Stumbled into the tree of whispers trying to bang out silly side quests because we can’t take any more in. I’m beyond excited to get home and get back into the excitement of getting new higher stuff! We had sigils in our inventory and had no idea what the heck to do with them

When you get bored you should try Diablo 2 resurrected. I grew up watching my uncle play it, but never really got around to knuckling down and playing it myself until a year or so back. And it's honestly worth a try at the very least.

There is still missing information i would like to see for the nightmare dungeons, like: do we upgrade them all or focus on one/few? Can we focus on one/few? I have a bunch of tier 1, 2 and 3s in my inventory, though i can't activate those with tier3 (what's going on here)? What sigils to salvage, I still don't understand how to determine which ones are "good" to keep and which to salvage

Oh cool. I didn't know how to make my own sigils. And I was getting bored with how fast I can go through a Tier 1 Nightmare dungeon. Hmmm, if I can handle a Tier 16-17 Tier NM dungeon, then off I got to the next capstone dungeon to unlock World Tier 4.Thank you!

You can do up to T20 NM (Sacred) dungeon on World Tier 3. You will have to complete Fallen Temple capstone dungeon (L70) to progress to World Tier 4 and access T21-100 NM (Ancestral) dungeons.

The devs have said that drops are improved in nightmare dungeons, so they might not be the fastest experience, but the do drop the most legendaries per hour of any activities in the game.

I've went up 10 levels without a single piece of gear that is better than what I'm already wearing dropping. Been doing lvl 16-18 nightmare dungeons. I keep leveling up but my gear stays the same. I'm level 65, last good Item I got was at 55. Seems like this is going to be a problem as the monsters get harder and my gear isn't getting stronger to deal with them. So far I can clear the 18's without much trouble.. until I get a butcher spawn.. which I've managed to kill him both times I've come across him. He's easily the hardest fight i've had in the nightmare dungeons so far. This is the kind of thing that kills a game for me.. may as well do something else if I'm just waisting my time running dungeons over and over with no good drops.

When leveling up glyphs, do you focus on 1 at a time for multiple levels till 15 or 2 or 3 glyphs at a time for a level or two?

BTW as soon as you can handle it you probably want to do tier 31 or higher dungeons because it has been confirmed that the super rare unique`s like halaquin crest starts dropping from level 85+ mobs so if you do the math he shows here 31+54 = level 85 mobs good luck guys and have fun!

I've gotten several sigils from tree of whispers, I've COMPLETED some nightmare dungeons and leveled up a glyph. The occultist's tabs for sigils are just locked for me still. No access to them. I've tried everything and there's no quests no progression no unlock. Additionally, no one seems to have an answer for this either.

@@Bigsurprise74 Yeah that didn't work. I cleared t3 and t4 nightmare dungeons and it wasn't until I cleared a t6 that I got the achievement for t5+ completion and the quest appeared on the map.

First there should be a mini quest to go talk to the tree, do one set of bounties and hand it in, then you get the quest marking the capstone dungeon. Must be in wt2 to do it

I had a similar problem. I was so frustrated. Almost quit d4. I went to town, asked a higher level player for help, got through it. Really opened things up. My builds much stronger since. Still workin on it though since I don't wanna just copy some online meta build.
