Oh God...he'd get checked real hard, real fast. lol....99% of the League wanted no part of a scrap with Dale Davis. This was just a strong, but still medium sized, vet teaching the young guys they weren't the boss. Zach was roughly 5 inches taller and at least 30-40 lbs heavier, from memory, than Rube. How was he getting "bullied" by a 2 guard? ..Still, a funny story and I greatly appreciate him telling it.

We used ( Zach may not remember this incident ) own a club in Eugene called the Jungle Night club ,capacity 750 & Zach / friends came down from Portland. We had to keep out some of his friends & he was furious & said plenty. I am from West Africa & I always felt looked down upon by most African Americans when they hear my accent & laugh at me until me or my wife give security the green light. I detested things getting to point but we have to protect our interest & when brothers realize I am part of ownership their attitude changes. Zach was a hard headed guy off the court too.
