I think this is all fabricated to be honest. If there's one thing I've learned with Mick Foley is that the people involved with WWE are willing to go above and beyond any limit in terms of responsibility and common sense, and I refuse to believe that all the people involved decided to react in the most childish ways possible at the same time. Individual reactions seem very fake, and I doubt they wouldn't hate each other If this was real. Props to Mcmahon for setting this all up, another great saga by WWE, I just wish people were a little smarter and gave Lita a break considering how obvious the whole thing was.

Considering WWE is known for having the Talent that cheated on someone go over as a way of getting their character heat (Edge, Triple H, Chris Benoit), it's no suprise that Matt slid down the card the way he did

I like how, after all the "rumbledethumping", they all thought their new models were better.

What I don't get is that this is a common thing in WWE, I mean, Triple H left Chyna for Stephanie, but no one booed them when it was all said and done, so why was LITA the only one punished for this ( it ended her career)
@TheRealAdaWong Жыл бұрын
There just seems to be less coverage in general for Hunter’s affair. Being that it was Stephanie, it surely wasn’t going to be aired out. Though she was asked about it with Howard Stern. While Chyna was already on the fritz with the company, rightfully trying to acquire equal pay. It was definitely one of the unsaid factors in her release. I’ll always enjoy their character, but as for Hunter and Stephanie Levesque, they’re awful for how they mishandled the affair unlike Edge, Lita, and Matt.

@@TheRealAdaWong funny, i've seen clips where stephanie herself talks about it
@TheRealAdaWong Жыл бұрын
@@BcAngel420 Right, I mentioned that she discussed it very willingly with Howard Stern. I’m just saying that it obviously wasn’t going to be a work like Matt and Lita’s infidelity being that it was Stephanie McMahon.

Because Stephanie is Vince's daughter.

Early WWE really had so much going on between Vince antics, HHH power mongering and the drugs running wild . WWE hadn't lost its rustic territory culture yet 😂😂😂😂😂

This was disgusting and at the same time it worked it made edge into the heel we all know and love and it.made Lita a good heel as well and matt became more over than ever now in hindsight all three can laugh about it now
@American-Zero Жыл бұрын
This angle thrust all three into the spotlight. Their private lives was everyone's business...but it made for some compelling TV. It definitely made Edge even hotter as a heel as this was the genesis of the Rated R Superstar. Edge was more hated than ever as a sleazy scumbag and even got louder boos than HHH who was originally the main bad guy of Raw. We can go on all night about who shouldn't have done what and who betrayed the other..but this was a blessing in disguise.

In the end as much as lita is a legend and I’ll always get hyped when I hear her music on tv. She got karma. Matt and edge are both happily married with children. And lita is by herself
@Mmrwok927 ай бұрын
She’s been a relationship for several years privately. Doesn’t need to be married with kids to be happy. Let’s not pretend Matt and his wife didn’t get arrested for domestic violence or how she was calling him out for doing some shady shit back in December/January. Marriage doesn’t equal happiness all of the time.

Pls before you judge Lita watch Lillian Garcia's interview with Lita Please!! The fact Lita takes full accountability instead of making excuses like lots of people do when they have affairs. She helped Matt keep his job after all of this. Her love for Matt was real apart from WWE they never much else in common.

100%!! I will never condone what Adam and Amy did. But if you read her book before her and Matt even split, she stated that they were two very different people and she had started to resent his constant Wrestling mindset. Her interview with Lillian was so real and raw and not enough people realise held herself accountable and that what they saw her portray on tv was not real.
