The True Test of Strength (Proverbs 24)

Hey I just wanted to ask something if that’s okay . I’m a new Christian . But I still need to learn a lot . I honestly haven’t been the best person . I hurt people , lied to people , and so many things I can name. I have lied about some serious things that the people who I lied to don’t even know I lied , and we don’t actually talk anymore. Do I need to confess to these people or just to god in order to be a true Christian ?
