Lark, we didn't ask Ray how his business sizes up to money transmitter laws. Does it not apply to his business model? I had a great crypto business idea but the outrageous money transmitter licencing fees stopped me.

If you want a stablecoin that is not in the hands of corporates, then Maker's DAI is the one for you. It is a smart contract token that is issued by a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation. It is based on the Ethereum Blockchain and running on the EVM. Essentially, DAI works on fixing its value overtime, regardless of how many tokens are issued. Most Ethereum developers have pegged their ETH's hodlings against DAI to test it back in December 2017 and they seem genuinely happy with its functionality. That said, I might be biaised here because I tend to trust developers far more than Fintech institutions. :) I like what Paxful is doing behind the curtains: offering seamless/straightforward solutions for the average wo/man. They definitely walk their talk.
