That’s the first time in my 29 years of being alive that I have EVER heard a man say “we cry as men” that has made me feel so ruthless because I cry all the time when I’m angry. because I don’t like the person I turn in to when I’m angry

I dont want to be stuck in quiet desperation, seeking the hand of salvation. Regressing through time being pinned down by the thoughts inside of my mind. Equivocating lies in an attempt to hide this sad existence in which I reside and over time i will be left behind. Alone and screaming but no amount of repenting could redeem the life that I have been leading, the energies all gone and faded to black, the dark has consumed me I cant look back. I wrote this in my notes a couple years ago, I dont share it often but I want you to know that youre not alone, being consumed by your emotions will tear you apart. You are loved my brother, i dont need to know you, to know that you are man who has been deprived of love from those you seek it from, not realizing that you also have been depriving those around you of the love you have for them, its a vicious cycle perpetuated by stress and anxiety of an ever changing lifestyle. Youve got a beautiful soul, hell we all do, its just locked away under all the bs you have allowed to weigh you down throughout your life, im going to assume you were never given a proper or comfortable avenue to work through your anger, therefore it has always consumed and overwhelmed you to the point that you become somebody unrecognizable in your thoughts and actions. Continue the for years and you have a lot shit built up, certain nights where you totally broke down that you dont even want to talk about because youre scared of reliving it, youre scared when faced with that powerful emotion once again it will bury you. 29 years and youve ended up here, screaming to the void of the internet hoping somebody will not only hear you but actually listen. Im listening brother.

my son has ADHD. from my experience in the last 11 years, I e noticed that...as much as I educate and love him, as much as I impart knowledge of manhood and teach him the sound methods of stoicism, as much as i urge him to be true to himself and to never give up, he isn't very receptive to any (if not all) of what I've taught him. I'll continue to raise him with love and strength, I just hope that one day he can be as receptive as this young man is.

There is a vulnerable lesson here that isn't gender specific, we all go through our lives and face things that may intentionally attempt to break us. Experienced that sometimes we create ourself because we don't know about these situations or haven't experienced those before. Life gives us these opportunities to stop for a moment and rethink our decisions. We cant change the past but we can decide where we're headed in the future. We all need our occasional mentors, people of expertise or whom have experienced these rough times before. We can learn from them. Whatever you're going through, or knowing someone who goes through a rough time. Don't be afraid to ask for guidance or help. Don't be afraid to reach out and offer help where you can. Sometimes all we need, is to know that someone or some people are there to listen to our struggles and offer to help. Be good to yourself. ❤
