6:31 He's right. I told my wife that her family has unresolved issues, because they drink and smoke too much. Most of them are educated and doing well, so she doesn't see anything wrong with it. But something's wrong when people constantly need or even want to be under the influence of something.

When I was 16 and I told my mother I was depressed and not to tell anyone. She told my brother who then cursed my out for being depressed. I nevet trust anyone with my feelings or true thoughts again. I'm 61 and still keep it inside. Our community needs these conversations but, its hard to trust.

"Depression is a luxury" hits different when I was deep in my depression, unemployable, damn near selectively mute, suicidal every moment of every day, in and out of the psych ward, self harming... but yeah I guess I should have sold drugs or something. Wait, tried that too and it wasn’t as lucrative for me as 50 cent. I think I did it wrong. I'm sorry, I'm still working through a lot of trauma and felt a little triggered

What David Banner said is deep! When we handshaking our peeps, we represent what they could have been (and vice versa). I think Pity is the soul divider. And when we get caught up the war begins between the spirit and the flesh. Giving in to our temptations, we dive into the unconscious and IT is there when IT comes to life, and IT wants all it can get and more, and if we don't obey, IT will clap back by shrinking our self esteem more thus opening the floodgates of depressive emotions and more. That IT must be treated with respect and that IT also represents our Desired potential. The unconscious alone is an example that what we know is limited compared to what we don't know.

When he said "I don't have the luxury of being depressed"... he was saying that people who are depressed are choosing to sit in self pity and darkness, which looks like..not wanting to "get up and go", and wanting to "fight back" not wanting to be a conqueror, and not "facing the world"

Wish a professional in the psychological field was included to answer/add Insight on certain situations. David, I appreciate you speaking up and projecting a more vulnerable you. Whereas you use your anger to cover your vulnerability. I covered mine with sex, lies, and gang activities. I do have to say your opinion of God is NOT the MOST HIGH GOD of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. This need to be said because the BIBLE is the context of that portion and I ain’t letting lies or confusion populate the airwaves.

Ain’t no one a psychologist or psychiatrist in here. Ehh okay, listen lightly but remember the human mind is one of the most complex mysteries of the earth. No one has the answers all in one and you’re not lazy or self loathing bc you’re depressed. It is during those times that rebirths and awakenings are formed. Life is cyclical. There will be highs and there will be lows

The Gospel that saves: Whoever believes that Jesus Christ who is the Son of God has died on the cross to wipe away ALL your sins, who was buried, & rose from the dead on the 3rd day is saved Forever. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

That man completely misunderstood what young joc was saying. YJ was right being able to speak your mind is a luxury. Not all things luxurious come from machismo. As a matter of fact the luxurious life or the soft life is a feminine concept. Can’t get less masculine than talking about your feelings. Dude actually displayed the machismo by interrupting and incorrectly assessing the conversation. He’s got a BIG EGO.
