These courses are legit. I am raising a nearly 7 month old doberman female. I started using these courses from day 1. My LEAVE IT is empowered by the ecollar and lots of training. With a puppy, that makes having a puppy a breeze.😅 It is worth the money!

Wow! I started watching your channel 4 years ago when I my Corso was 1yo and you had less then 100k subscribers. I implemented your techniques from your videos and now I have a 100% reliable off leash Dog that I can take into any grocery/hardware store without any worries. He is still very cautious about strangers petting him, but strangers shouldn’t be petting him. In those situations I just call him to a heal and tell the stranger that he doesn’t like to be touched. Thank you for the thousands of hours of free dog training you are making available to the world. Thanks 🇨🇦

I love his videos & sharing of his knowledge, they’ve helped me so much w/my 4.5 month old Rottweiler! Also, as a former hairdresser his haircut here is ON POINT! Borderline distracting, that’s a beautiful fade & I love the gradation in the back & overall squared shape, especially at the top back of the head where most cut in, his shape is perfectly squared but yet with style still. Whoever did your last cut, you need to make that your always person! Skills!! 🤩

I actually have been cutting my own hair for the last 5 years or so 😂 because I don't trust any barber to do it right. Plus it's faster. But thank you so much for the compliment means a lot because I'm the one putting in the work! 💪❤💇‍♂️💈

Stumbled over a few of your videos a couple weeks ago and it made me realise the issues with my 1 year old Lagotto. Prongs and e-collars are unfortunately illegal in my country but I've been implementing a lot of the techniques with a slip leash. She was constantly pulling the leash and my daughter's hand was blistered after walks and now she (dog, not daughter) responds really good to minor leash pressure. Still have work to do when it comes to heeling etc but I wanted to say that the stuff you put up here actually WORKS. Thanks for teaching people how to train their dogs.

I pin my boy (sometiimes) when he goes left. I try and pin him with my dominance and stare. He slinks down and drops his head while he looks up at me. He decides to come now. Or stops and sits. He's my first ever big dog (pitbull/rotweiler/sharpei) and needed a lot of wrangling before I trusted him to submit before I dominated him. You helped me help him decide to let me be his alpha Garret. Thank you so much! I'm not in a position to have an e-collar or anything fancy, but your methods work.

Garret, thank you. As always you explanations are clear and concise...... i wonder if there'sa reason for that 😉! Lol Not just one if the best trainers but the most entertaining channel as well. Thank you so much you continue to inspire. Shockinglyni have no problem training dogs. Explaining things to people is the hard part! I have stolen so many of your analogies i probablynowe you a considerable amount !! Lmao!

I am thanking the dog gods that you made this video. This is 💯 legit and works. Thank you Garrett because so many people are not consistent. The interesting thing about super well trained dogs they can blow you off it is so important to correct and some dogs are always looking for those holes, lol. Awesome video!

One of the reasons older dogs tend to be more reliable then younger ones!It is called experience! All depends of the dog and the handler, some dogs do not react well by giving thrm cookies all the time!Try teaching the KNPV recall on the attack, that is where you will see the real dog .

Would it be OK if the dog chased bunny WITHOUT you telling it to? No harm to dog or bunny. Not choosing, no recall at the time. Bunny got through my fence, dog came back. Also, as she has HD she is somtimes in too much pain to sit at all, never mind fast.

I really like your videos. They are great. I like your “dogs are dogs, breeds don’t matter… “ attitude. It’s correct 👍 I remember ppl asking me how I trained my boxer and put so well. I replied because “ I win all games, and they don’t know any better now to not listen” I didn’t realize what this meant until meant until watching this video…

My GSD began to chase cattle going through a barbed wire fence. I had the E-collar on him, took him to the fence, when he stuck his head through the barbed wire I zapped him at 75! He hollered big time, but that fixed the problem.

That’s one way to do it and in very dangerous situations, like dogs running out into the street or chasing cars, a massive aversive correction may be a better outcome than them getting killed….but, the E collar training Garret provides in his course shows you how to start using the collar at very low levels to actually provide motivation to do the requested action (like a recall) without the downsides of a big aversive “shock”. My dog (80 pound high drive Working Line GSD) has a “working level of 9 or 10 and rarely needs any higher. Anyhow, the collar is great but it may be worth your while to take a slower approach to the training. I would highly recommend all the DIYK9 courses. I purchased the bundle and it has been awesome for my 8 year old GSD and my new Working Line GSD pup.

My border collie puppy 10 months old needs more to deter him from his cryptonite which is high pitched women saying “Awwww you cute puppy who’s a good boy” and those birds on the grass feeding, so unfortunately he can’t be off leash and he looks at me as if to say but dad look! It’s a bird or a woman let me please and he does one of those complaining groowooowooo sounds that is so cute but I keep my pace walking not even looking at the distraction, my previous border collie was already at that age off leash ehhh more work needed
