I love Dr. Terri. I've known her since 2008 and was one of her first clients. I will be 62 this year and I'm still taking HRT pellets without issue. I'm so thankful to have moved through menopause without all the issues that women in my family experienced. I also don't have any issues with joint pain, etc. Not sure how much can be associated with HRT or lifestyle but I still feel like I have the energy of a 40 yo.

Thank you for planning a follow-up session to discuss the issues with estrogen and progesterone for those of us who have had breast cancer. I always enjoy watching your videos. They are so informative.

I just started pellets about 4 months ago, I did it primarily to hopefully help with my osteopenia, that aside I am amazed at how great I have felt since starting, I sleep through the night, something I haven’t done in years, more energy, I feel calmer , again, my main reason was to help my bones, however the other benefits are fantastic!

Hi there. I had an estrogen positive cancer so I stopped taking estrogen but the oncologist said could continue taking my progesterone. Which I love due to calm and good sleep. I am hearing Terri say she often gives just progesterone and androgens so that might be the route for me. I will look into it. thank you

I was regular each and every month until one day at age 38 , I thought I was pregnant.. but that was the last period ever and last drop of blood my body ever shed. Oddly enough my only sister had the exact same scenario. Puzzle for sure.

A lot of information to digest. So. You are injected with a small pellet about twice a year. These pellets cannot be removed. Over the course of time these add up. What is the long term effect? No mention of the "elephant in the room" Cost. Is this covered by health insurance? Or Medicare?

On the other end of the spectrum are Docs like Julie Taguchi who you recently interviewed. Is it because Dr. Taguchi is an oncologist that she views HRT dosing thru the lens of reduced cancer risk and not other markers or concern, that she recommends, just as strongly, rhythmic or cyclic dosing?

What was your experience? I'm trying to find as much information as I can on alternatives to taking HRT and hormones because it's not going to be available to me and I'm just very scared of this stuff But at the same time I don't want to suffer all the awful things that come with menopause, I still watch videos supporting HRT because I want to learn both sides but it seems like recently there's been more push for women to get on hormone replacement but I just hope I can find an alternative that will still help, I've only talked to a very small amount of women who said they got through menopause without HRT and hormones But I hope there's more women out there who have succeeded without hormones and maybe they just don't talk about it much

"Getting through menopause without HRT " implies no symptoms. That was me and I couldn't understand when my mother in law said that might not be a good thing! What? Now at 68, I've watched my dexa score drop and drop until I have osteoporosis. No doctor suggested HRT. So I have had damage to my body all along and with my mother and grandmother had Alzheimer's disease. I have now started HRT with the hopes that I can at least stall any progression of the silent damage. I don't have any fear of the medication. Not like I do with statin therapy which has been suggested and refused.

@suelahti2078 does that mean that all women have no choice if we don't take HRT we absolutely will suffer no matter what???

@MariaBrinks25 good question. I hope that they will finally do studies to determine the extent of the damage.
