The TRUTH About Riders Republic

The truth about Riders Republic is that its leveling is killing the game, making me question if riders republic is worth it in 2023. The levelling system in causes progression to slow down, causing meaningless grinding of events for a potential legendary drop.

I have mixed feelings on the progression. For me how it works makes sense, but it does not in the sense you unlock a inferior gear item. That i can agree with you on.

Thank you for the comment! That's the thing, I know steeps progression may feel shallow as its just levels rather then getting loot (like in riders) but it Steeps works alot better for the player in my opinion as there is no stone walling!

logged onto RR today, only to see the horrible weekly challenge rewards, bangers and crash nerfed a ton and the fact that game just isn’t enjoyable anymore. i haven’t completed steep yet so i am going to finish that up and hopefully by the time im done skate 4 will be here, and i agree, when you grind 1 hour on a event on level 45 just to get expert gear is painful.

In Riders Republic it’s so frustrating getting to level 50 on the race career and getting a road bike or money. IM ON LEVEL 50 WITH A DOWNHILL BIKE WITH STATS OF 400 WHYYY

If u still play just go to events and find "Monday blablabla" and play the one who has the career u want to evolve.

Being at 3400 stars with max level on DH and free ride with no elite gear I can agree it is infuriating but still keeps me grinding

Yeah, it’s definitely a grind. I’m more into the racing aspect of it like dh, just wish they had more of the mass race events to do.

Well this is obviosly just a parking slot for me until skate 4 comes out, u have some valid points here i give u that but i have spend 578 hours and near 20k stars into this game it aint tgat bad!🤷🏻‍♂️😅

Trick events in this game are much too easy. You barely need pro level gear to complete them on elite. That goes for snow tricks or bike tricks. There's even a funky snowboard that everyone gets early on that's perfect for doing those snow trick events. Bike race events are tougher without elite gear, but the adventure bike funky, which is available to everyone from the very start, is plenty good enough to use for elite events. There are even a couple where that bike is the best one to use. The biggest grind is definitely the rocketwing events since some of them are next to impossible without elite gear (although there is a lower level rocketwing that's pretty op). But you get aerial experience for doing wingsuit events too and there are more than a few of those that are a) short (I'm talking like 60 seconds) and b) easy to win on elite with any level wingsuit. Plus, getting second or third in elite difficulty gives you more bonus points than getting first on an easier difficulty. I'm not saying it's not a grind, it can definitely be grindy at times, but they do provide gear options, for free and from the very start of the game, that make it totally possible to complete events on elite with just a little bit of practice.

I have to disagree the problem is it tried to do too much with not enough effort put into it there’s no sense of speed or adrenaline play descenders if you want bikes it’s leagues above in terms of sense of speed, variability, skill ceiling and better controls everything feels the same in riders republic I remember going down the biggest mountain on steep at breakneck speeds the only really fun thing in riders republic are the rocket skis games straight casual player trash

I did enjoy Riders Republic for a bit but got bored of it decently quick, I do install it now and then to see what's new with the game. EDIT: Personally I did enjoy STEEP alot more.

What are you on about? Genuinely I’m having a hard time comprehending. You start unlocking elite gear at level 65 for each career. So if you don’t have elite gear you need to lvl more. I won’t say it’s not random but don’t make it seem like your gonna get a 200 bike when your lvl 70 in a career. The reason you don’t get gear to complete the elite challenges off rip is for replay value. You can’t a better time? Good you’ve pushed this gear to its limit and now you need to lvl up and get better gear just like any game. I will say for the amount of lvls there are per career there should be more challenges, for example I completed every download race before I got a maxed elite bike so I don’t feel the need for a better bike atm cuz I can complete all the races and bike rating dosent matter in mass race. My point being you don’t need max gear to complete and getting gear isn’t random you just need to play more and lvl up. It’s not the games fault you wasted time on a race you could never beat because you either aren’t good enough or your just the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result 😂

I feel like you're a bit confused about the mechanics of the drops. Careers cap at 50, after that you level up but you always stay at 50. There's literally now way to reach 65-70 like you're saying here. You get random drops after you level up and most elite/legendary start to drop once you reach level 41. Gear drop is 100% random for sure. But I agree that you're able to complete most events without having to use legendary gear.

What’s the point of being so negative in a loot feature of a otherwise awesome game? If you enjoy the “gameplay,” then why try to “microwave” careers for elite gear right NOW? Instead, give it time and you’ll eventually earn elites by completing various events. //Be Blessed By Jesus, Christmas37.

so you complain about progression being random and then when you get a clear progression path through sponsorship that also doesn't work cause you need to do too many tasks. What's the difference between it being a sponsorship path instead of a leveling up reward? Mind you what makes this complaint more stupid is that most tasks in a sponsorship although time gated (which sucks I know), they can be completed in seconds, if not a few minutes max. Like score combo of 15000 points, really basic shit. I really don't see the issue apart from it being time gated, which gives you enough time to explore other careers, level those up, etc. You rage quit over optional secondary tasks in a game and those was clearly designed for endgame players. Like you realize that if they made the time trial not hard to achieve with legendary gear the complains won't be "oh how hard the game optional missions are", instead it would be "it's so piss easy, especially once you've geared up with better equipment". You just can't please people who want to complain. The only thing I think is a valid complaint and you didn't even mention is how the online is stacked against new players since they can't compete at all in things like mass races until they get a couple epic items under their belt for multiple disciplines/careers. Which means it's really not a good pick up and play kind of game if you're interested in the online. but singleplayer optional tasks that you don't even need to complete as a crux for your arguement is baffling to me. In fact, you can finish events in 12/12 place and you still unlock the following race and receive xp towards that career path, so there's literally no excuse about halting progression.

Just because you don't want to grind RR Doesn't mean the game is not fun, Yes Its repetitive and boring in places, but for me its a fun game, so if you have any problem with the game just tell that to the creators, not us.
