In this video we go into detail about the pros and cons of summing a stereo signal to mono and why we have two versions.

I'm looking for a solution for my stereo delay (Nemesis) which has all the settings with a 2nd tap in the right channel. I need to go back and forth between mono and stereo without reprogramming all my delay patches. Stereo Sum works for delay, but as you say, not for modulation. Your solution for modulation is Split Sum, but that ignores the 2nd channel. If I have a stereo modulation pedal going into a stereo delay, it appears that neither Stereo Sum or Split Sum will handle collapsing down to mono. Is there a solution for a full featured stereo pedalboard to collapse to mono without phasing out some signals? Thanks

In short... no. It's less a matter of hardware and more a matter of physics. It just can't be done after the fact for modulation. The easiest way here would be to sum your signal and slightly unplug the right in/out of your stereo modulation section.
