I've been using mine for nearly 12 months now. Never had an issue. I list all my properties with a Matterport space now.

I would have contacted the company for a warranty exchange. I've been using mine since May of last year (10 months) and never had it freeze up. The worst thing I have encountered is keeping my remote paired with the iPhone... especially if I walk behind walls. But a lot of the walls here in Florida are solid concrete.

Ahhh, I've had that happen too! Ironically, idk if its an update or not, but I haven't had my connection issue much at all in the past 3-4 months.

Yes technically, but the axis is definitely easier and quicker than that

You can see the iPhone 14 example in my bio. No idea how the 11 would do. Depends on how dark the house is! But worth a shot if it’d compatible

@@ColeConnor I thought it might just be mine - maybe they're all this way. Like you get into position, it starts the process and then halfway around the circle you have to reset it and shoot the spot again

That's exactly it!! I talk a little about it in the video. I'm not sure what it is, but i think it's a glitch across the board@@squarekite

@@ColeConnor Great video - Matterport needs to do some kind of firmware update on the Axis! Note you don't need the Axis to do phone scans as the app works fine. You can use any tripod mount vertical phone holder and use the Matterport phone app. You will need to tilt your tripod head to center the dot in the circle as you show in the video and you have to manually spin the tripod head around as you do a 360. But the good thing is you only have to press a button to start a scan once - as you move around the room when the dot goes into the circle it will capture that frame each time.
