i had 2 toor knives, a merchant 1.0 and a chasm-t, both knives had severe flaws; the merchant had the edge sticking out of the scales when closed, it was the only knife that gave me a really ugly cut when i took it out of my pocket ever. the chasm-t...i returned that thing on the same day because the tolerances were so off that the blade hit the spacer barrel with every close (came with a big chunk of the edge missing). but to be fair: when i posted a photo of the nasty edge of my merchant in a fb knife group, one of toor's employees reached out to me and offered me a free new knife. though by that time i was so frustrated that i lost my interest and didn't respond. it was a good move, but they won't win me back, at least not as long as they have this kind of qc-issues.

Folders are trash in general though lol, their fixed blades are quite exquisite.

Their fixed blades are some of the best I have come across. I use a few of them for work. The Darter and Karsumba are probably my favorites. Two different use cases.

It is a newer knife company that is making knives with tight tolerances. All of the great knife companies starting out has a learning curve.

Yes maybe but I spent 550 on two knives from them that both had qc problems when I reached out to Toor they never got back to me, that's unacceptable

I looked at these at smkw as well. But turns out I have a soft spot for titanium folders. I have several Selena’s as well as benchmade, zt, and Hinderer. Had to ask myself if I really needed another one. Maybe next time. I do love that tanto though. My favorite right now is the hinderer eclipse.

Have a Toor Suitor and it's a fantastic little overbuilt small titanium frame lock For such a small little folder I'd try to cut through a car door with it, if that was ever required. 🤣

They are a garbage company. Terrible quality control and even worse customer service. I've tried contacting them for 3 months now and have had no response from them. So I'm just stuck with a knife that is more dull than a butter knife with severely uneven grinds and the worse blade coating I've ever seen.

Maybe they changed the coating, but mine has outperformed CRKT's coating, so...for whatever that's worth lol

Has anyone here got any experience with the fixed blades from Toor? I´m looking at the Serpent (Outlaw), but since its a smaller brand with alot of demand it seems like some have flaws and therefor i havent spend my 360-ish € on one yet (Smaller flaws like uneven grinds to but also bigger flaws). I want to support smaller businesses, but spending that much on a faulty blade isnt my thing.

I have multiple fixed blades and axes from them and haven’t had issues. Only recommendation is after a while reapply some loctite to the bolts

Have a serpent a raven and am buying all three if they’re folders I prefer them because they aren’t 600$ like a sebenza but they also use bronze washers instead of kit ball bearings like ZT. I have almost every brand of USA knife and spartan and toor are my only buys now for fixed and folders

I disagree. They left me in a email loop for months and never fixed my issues. I commented on a Instagram post about it and they treated me like an idiot. Not an impressive company

I mean I have the money so I do collect they’re fixed blades and ive had none better but I get what you mean on they’re folders. They fixed their alignment issues recently from what I’ve. Been seeing
