What you say about the photographing and fingerprinting from October is of course correct, unless of course implementation is delayed again. However, the rules about proof of accommodation or possession of a certain amount of money are highly unlikely to ever be enforced in respect of the average British traveller. These rules are not new and social media has been scaremongering about them for quite some time. They would also be a nightmare to enforce. To take just one example, in these days of credit cards, how many people actually travel with large amounts of cash or travellers cheques in their possession? Very bad of Ryanair to have allocated the emergency exit seats to passengers travelling with an infant.

@@Ben-xe8ps the scaremongering has been excessive. Articles on daily financial and accommodation requirements have been popping up daily on my news feeds. I doubt they will enforce it on Brits too. It wouldn’t be possible to carry large amounts of money, unless they decide to request for bank statements which is highly unlikely and unless if they think there is something questionable about a particular traveller. We did find it strange as to how the booking was possible for the couple travelling with an infant 👶🏻. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment 😀.
