Nothing is ever so simple as a romcom movie. Do not blame Charles, his Grandmother and her Grandmother decided to push Diana and Charles together and Prince Philip said to Charles, do not mess Diana around, marry her or let her go. There are many facets to a Royal Marriage. Charles was very fond of Diana and so they married but it is not his fault that she was already damaged goods. Diana's same Grandmother had given evidence against her own daughter in the Spencer divorce and Diana and her siblings were taken away from their mother and lived with their father. Diana's sister Sarah also had eating problems brought about by this separation. The children of aristocrats do not necessarily have much interaction with their parents either.

She thought that Charles was the answer to her need for constant reassurance, unfortunately being 12 years older Charles was more set in his ways and thought she would follow him and fall in with his wants and needs and did not realise just how much she was hurting and had been hurting for more than10 years. Unfortunately their Grandmothers were wrong she was not malleable and Charles was not accommodating. The best that happened in their marriage was producing William who is a credit to them both and to HM The Queen and Prince Philip.

charles had a very unloving hands off upbringing by his own parents. they were always traveling. when he was away at school in scotland, he got involved in the drama club and really enjoyed himself. i think that really embarrassed his parents.

Rhonna Charles was loved by his parents but his Mother became Queen before he was 4 and her life became more structured. After she and Philip had completed the Coronation Tour of the Commonwealth which took 5 months they were able to organise their routine better which left time for them to enjoy the children's bathtime. While their parents were away the Queen Mother gave lots of love and attention to both Charles and Anne. Charles was a teenager when he became interested in acting and drama and no one was embarrassed by his acting.

William and Catherine have a good relationship with the British Media. They agree to a short photo shoot when on holiday and the British Media respect their privacy. When William was at Eton Collage and St. Andrews University it was agreed that the Media would not intrude on his studies. H too benefited from having no media intrusion whilst he was at Eton, or at Sandhurst. The Cambridge children are fortunate in having parents who love them and do not seek to make money out of them. Catherine is a talented photographer and she has taken pictures of the family at all important landmarks, birthdays, 1st days at school etc., she then sends them to the media. The two little bairns over the pond will not enjoy such freedom or be allowed to grow up at their own pace and I dread to think what will happen to them if the cross either parent.

Unfortunately that's the baggage of being the heir to the throne. Charles wishes he spent more time with his children, but it wasn't always possible. Most of the Camilla-Charles affair was remote, as Charles had to focus on his royal duties. Despite this,William and Harry both love their father.

Not true. His work is what entitles him and his family to live in beautiful homes, to have staff, to wear good quality clothes, to eat good food and for the women in the family to have access to beautiful jewellery and clothes. Once the engagement was finished he might have to get ready for another one or two that day but Charles always got home whenever he could to help at bathtime and to read to his children. There are photographs in the family albums showing Charles playing with his sons, riding a bicycle with H on the pillion seat behind him. and when they went as a family on holiday he was always there, ski-ing, playing snowball fights etc., in the winter and swimming and walking in the summer.

People may say what they want about Prince Charles, but he never abanded gisvsons, like too many fathers do. Some leave and never look back. I know, my 1st. husband did just that! He left, without as much as a sideward glance at his 3 young children.Occasionally, he would stop over, once to pick up the t.v. never even acknowledged his children. I always told my kids, that even though he tookbthe t.v. I got the better deal_ I had my children. Another time, long between visits, to see his kids, when he brought them homevro me, my youngest daughter, got her finger caughtbin his brand new smacking red truck door. She was Screaming in pain, I said to him, we have to get her to the hospital, and his response? I can't, I have a party to go to. I took her, and her little finger was broken, and had to have it splinted. He Never as much called to see how she was. Back in those days, there was no such thing as child support( I guess that's howvhe could afford the shiny newvrwd truck, anyway, I was raised that you never asked the gov.for handouts, so I became a Nurse One more thing comes mind, after Church, I would stop by his parents house, as that:s where he was living, and as soon as I walked in, with the kids, he would lockvhimself in his bedroom, so he wouldn't have to see his own kids. My father abandoned my mother and I when I was a toddler. My mother is living to her content now and has no financial insecurity. But my father is sickly taking a sick wife with estranged children that would texted him once or twice a year. I have to say I put extra effort with regards to my mother. But with my father, well, I understand where he had coming from and that's it. His past actions created consequences. I do forgive him, but I won't take extra effort to attend to him. And please, do make sure your children know that they are loved by you or even other family members. That would make up for their father's absence. And would greatly affect how the would grow up as a person. I know it puts so much pressure as a single mother, please do reach out to people whom you can trust to release your tension. Do not release them to your children. They will be thankful that you raise them, but they will never forget how they are treated, and will treat you the same way when they become adults. When it comes to a relationship, there are "always" two sides to a story. No one ever considers what a painful experience it was for Charles and Camilla that they were not allowed to marry one another! People sympathize with Diana because she was young and pretty. What if she were old and ugly, would people still sympathize with her? Also, in over 1/3 of marriages, one or both partners cheat. Are these people going to hold it against all the cheaters? People should be more understanding and forgiving and not so judgmental! After all, Diana wasn’t exactly easy to get along with, with her mood swings, temper tantrums, and jealous rages, not to mention that she and Charles shared nothing in common! @@s3jb453 Yes, William did advise Harry to slow things down with Meghan, but I am realizing that William had a problem with Meghan due to the fact that she is half African American. I believe that he is the one who asked about Archie's complexion too. William has a problem with race and those who are different from him. 7lillie is right about William throwing his brother and sister-in-law under the bus to cover his affair with aristocrat, Rose Hanbury. William will go to any lengths to put his brother down to make himself look good. He is the one behind the negative stories about Meghan and Harry.

I don't believe a word of the media says about the Royal Family. I don't blame William at all for dating Kate for 10 years before getting married. He just did not want to rush into anything because he saw first hand the dangers of rushing into marriage. Something alot of people don't realize in regards to Charles and Diana is that their marraige was doomed. They only saw each other a total of 13 times before getting engaged. And Of those 13 times only about half of them were just the two of them. There was alot of pressure on both sides to get married. Especially with the press hounding Diana since day one. He worried about his brother being impulsive when he saw the dangers of rushing into a marriage with his parents. I have always admired William's love of family and his country. And his duty to his country.

Charles was close to his sons, he was as affectionate with them as their mother. Charles is a good father and has never neglected either of them. Both Charles and Diana were in other relationships not just Charles.

If Charles hasn’t ever neglected any of his sons, how come he cut off financial support and security for his younger son, Prince Harry, his daughter in law, Meghan Markle, and grandson, Archie? Especially when they were receiving death threats and constant media scrutiny 24/7. Prince Charles isn’t a good father, husband or grandfather. He has a lot to atone for for the way he treats those close to him in his life.

Harry chose not to work for the Royal family and claimed he wanted to be independent, therefore not entitled to tax payer security. Harry has plenty of his own money to pay for security. Time to pull his big boy pants on.
