This video should have a lot more comments! Thankyou for such a clear, easy to understand breakdown As someone that was more secure, and then suffered narcissistic/psychological abuse/emotional abuse and gaslighting - I transitioned to anxious due to the circumstances. After healing, I'm starting to feel more secure within myself and noticing my partner is more fearful/disorganised attachment which likely caused the abusive/maladaptive coping strategies to his shame. Thankfully, getting more secure in myself has helped me be there to assist him in beginning to heal his attachment and repair breaks in our relationship, and helped him stop his hurtful behaviour and take ownership of mine too

Didn't know that attachment style could change over time throughout someone's life, I thought it was more of a 'template' a person got stamped with growing up. Very useful, thanks!!!

This was the original theory about attachment theory but the scientific evidence is clear that it can change! Good news for anyone who has struggled with their relationships ❤️

So true! My parents were both narcissist, covert mun, overt dad, and I am an anxious-avoidant type. I often attract narcs with and try to change it though!
