If you're a US citizen or US immigrant you can work as PTA. However I haven't heard of anyone I know who is petitioned as PTA. Employers hire PT from outside the US not PTA.

You have to go through credentialing process for them to compare your education to US standards.

Hello! I have a DPT 5 years degree. Can i do visa screen for HCWC using my DPT for H1B visa as i don't have an immigrant or working visa. Or do i really need a masters degree? I've seen in some places that say that a masters degree is required, some say DPT with 170 credits does the job? Because if it requires masters then i can't apply right now because i don't want to risk spending my money to get stuck at HCWC. I'm asking to gather information for applying to NY. Please let me know.

The requirement is master's degree OR DPT. So DPT will work for HCWC.
