You need to get the ARMMA body clip tethers and drill the battery clamp top to connect tether tp brace add 'R' clip's to them then yhey will not get lost, I have done this on a couple of my vehicles, I foundsome coloured ones that stand out.

Questions have you bought aluminum upgrades for Max slash. I bought all they had available in green and they were awesome but had to return the front wheel hubs they rub badly on rim (almost stop tire fron turning) took back to hobby store they called traxxas the rep told us they new it rubbed and should self clearance I was shocked so I put plastic front hubs back on. I really was shocked rep told us to let it self clearance. I was going to ask if anyone has had same issues the truck is awesome besides that

Spent a few hundred I attended a bash event max slash did awesome But on side note next day the esc died temp light came on after a few minutes on 4s just kept flashing motor esc not hot traxxas said send motor esc to them so now waiting for My motor esc to return wish they would fix the 6s esc Burned 2 up in udr put my xrt 8s esc in udr no problems now another in max slash it is great otherwise

The front suspension on this thing is god awful. You get chassis slap with any jump, regardless of preload. The brake dive will touch the front against the ground. And the rear inner wheel constantly dog legs. And this thing rolls so easy. I’ve been running the Maxx slash for a few days and I am not impressed. My slash LCG with a few upgrades will out race this thing all day. Is far more stable at speed and has a way better throttle feel. The Mojave 6s is also way better in every area. If they’d let me return my Slash Maxx I would in a heartbeat. This thing is a let down. I’m not sponsored, bought with my own money. Oh yeah the belted tires are meh. Slow af servo. This thing needs 400$ in parts just to compete on the same level as the Mojave 6s. This was my most anticipated RC this year, and now it’s the biggest disappointment. If this was a video game, it’d be the day before. N

I'll never understand why Traxxas keep creating these frankinstein releases when they could invest real money and create brand new vehicles from Scratch. This thing is junk, I know mark said it did 61MPH but I don't buy it....it looked slow, unstable, too low to the ground, the chassis is ugly as hell and looks like a nightmare to work on. And apparently the body falls off every 5 mins. Build something new, something awesome, stop repurposing parts and building these crazy creations.

Just got mine today, RED were your springs too short? Mine have like half inch of play between the top of the spring and the bottom the collar (when unthreaded) Luckily I have extras from my Maxx & Sledge

I wonder if the rumors are true about the container of red ones being stolen? Thanks for the continued content! When I did the FPV video I strapped the GoPro to the hood and that really helped keep the nose down. I did lose 2MPH (according to the GPS) which I think was due to more wind resistance. Glad you were able to backup the traxxas claim! i was really happy to see 60MPH with the body on.
