This really spoke to me as I felt the same way as you did before I became a mother. I was working as a nurse and thought I would come back once I had my daughter because “there was no way I could just sit at home all day, I would get so bored”. 😅 My daughter was born and I knew I wanted to be home with her. God worked hard on my heart to switch my priorities, as a Christian, wife and mother. Trying daily to strive to be closer to him to serve as a wife and as a mother to my family of soon to be 5 now! ❤

I'm an engineer and I hate working for corporate. Our house situation allowed us to have 1 income but it just worked out to me being the main breadwinner for the time being. I'm looking forward to being at home in a few years when he goes back full time and I can raise our boys
