It doesn't take away from or ignore One Piece's themes of found family, while adding layers to the narrative, and all of it dovetails beautifully. There's a thing I've never forgotten and always made me think... Kuma separating everyone in Sabaody. He starts by sending everyone to where they could best learn and improve their skills. But the final two seem mostly out of a certain convenience... Robin and Luffy. Truth be told Kuma may have just sent Robin to the Revolutionaries because they needed her and Luffy to Amazon Lily because nobody would ever search for him there. But after watching your video I really like the idea of Kuma sending Robin to her unknown father and Luffy to his unknown mother's "family". That and another thing... the image of Luffy reaching for Robin's hand and having them being separated again gains a whole lot more weight if they are indeed siblings.

I was thinking tonight about the reality of Luffy's fruit. Maybe his fruit is the 'Will Will' fruit because he can become anything he wants and only his imagination limits him only he doesn't know it. That might connect the Will of 'D' directly to Luffy just like Roger said that one day. So the Will of D could be that the Sun God Nika (Luffy) will save the world (Warrior of Liberation) and destroy celestial dragons. Yorki being the man marked by flames is a wildly great idea. It would be much cleaner if that was someone we had already heard of and Yorki is one of the few people we know of from a flashback whose fate is unknown. When it comes to Robin I think its equally feasible that she could be Roger's daughter, because Roger having a connection to Ohara feels very appropriate. Either way I agree that Nico D Robin is almost certain to be the case.

Robin was a big theory when Ohara was happening weekly! Still okay with that one, too. But I think a lot of the dialogue with Roger and Rayleigh implies that Ace is Roger's only kid

The Warlords all had Animals in their Name and as you said Yorki could refer to a Yorkshire Terrier. Btw. if you have a moment, I'd like you to taste my meal and tell me if I'm cooking hot or cold on this: It's about Hina. She is related to Garps Family in some way, shape or form. (Could even be Luffy's Mum. Although she would've been ~15 on Luffy's Birth) Garp & Hina are talking way to casual with one another, esp. considering their Ranks. There's the Scene where they're talking about Rocks at a Dinner and she's sitting to his right which is a major seat in symbolism, esp. when Bogard isn't around. For the Mum-Theory I have found this so far: Oda said Mums are the opposite of Adventure. And to Oda going on an Adventure symbolizes Freedom. Another symbol for Freedom are Birds. And what did Oda drew? Hina as a Child (rare & suspicious enough on it's own) but he drew her next to a caged bird, so as if it's important that she always wanted to restrain someone from freedom. When she should chase Luffy in Arabasta, she was pretty casual about it, a bit like LA Garp, but when she found out that it was an Imposter, she got really mad. On Marineford, she half-heartedly threw a single attack at Luffy, he dodged and she just shruged, smiled and said something along the lines of "welp, guess he got away." or something like this. She wasn't even trying and haven't had her mean-face put on. Lastly, If she would've been 14/15 when she got Luffy, she would've been too young to care about Luffy, Dragon couldn't do it either as he was already gone and that's why Garp took over Luffy. Oh, and Hina and Luffy/Garp also have the same Blood-type. Sorry fro bringing this up, I'm sure I had more at some point, but I've never told this Theory before so I probably forgot something over the years^^

I was surprised when you said Oda originally intended for Amazon Lily to be a final saga island but that just makes me so intrigued about the former pirate empress. As for Luffy's lineage and it's ties to Skypeia, I think it's a home run. Oda definitely has a lot of stuff he wanted to convey thematically through the Monkey family and the role they play in the overall story, so if he was still on his 5 year plan during Skypeia, he'd definitely try to intertwine the two as much as possible to save time. it would also be a great explanation for why luffy's mom has never been explicitly mentioned or even vaguely referenced despite Oda's notorious amount of planning and foreshadowing. bonus points for highlighting the 'montblanc usopp' theory, i'm a big fan of that one. someone else's comment said usopp and luffy dancing could be a good way to show Noland and Kalgara's descendants still kicking it generations later and i really really enjoyed that touch. great theory Randy! Can't wait for you to read the one piece tea leaves again and reveal the Cross Guild's master plan to us

I'm not sure how far each crew members ancestry would be featured, but I'd love little things like Franky's long ago ancestor to have been some sort of famous rocket ship builder in the ancient kingdom or something, just seeing someone in a flashback with similar hair and I can head canon as such lol. just love my super guy. looking forward to the next video! take care(:

Troy I have an idea! If Calico Yorki is indeed Luffy's grandfather, it is possible that Oda had already shown us what Luffy's mother really looked like. She's just like Vegapunk York! For some reason, I always thought York's face looked like Luffy's, plus they both eat a lot. Vegapunk may have been inspired by Calico Yorki's daughter for her creation, as he knew Dragon. In official colors, York has the same hair color as Calico Yorki. Fun fact, York is getting a lot of attention. Remember when they theorized that Luffy's mother would be a Celestial Dragon? This is exactly what York wants to become.
