The name of this film is Laura Smiles (2006). Its a good film though not a box office smash. The woman suffers trauma from losing her fiance. Rather then grieving, she immerses herself in several superficial relationships. Then finally she allows herself to start the greiving process 10 years later.

Interesting movie but her trauma would've begun in childhood & that doesn't even rate a mention ... I know this as I am going through the journey of healing repressed trauma myself

Totally weird movie ! Her unresolved trauma makes her do horrible things .. I could never understand people who hide themselves under fake smiles she just pretends she is ok but when she is alone she is in a mess .. what’s the point to even be married to someone if you can’t be real and honest .. the whole movie is just strange and confusing .. what is the ending .. did she really kill that poor guy or it was her imagination?

I just realized who she looks like! With more makeup, a careless relaxed attitude, different & Debby Harry's 1970s hairstyle she could easily play Harry in a film about the singer's seventies punk band, BLONDIE!!!❤

I am sitting here saying out loud “what is this about?” Answer: it’s not an identity disorder! Well just to say, the love of your life taken like that is a lot to deal with, especially if a relationship like that is what drives you. Jesus is the best inner healer.

@@petermihacerar1137 well he was promised right back at the beginning. It’s not just as simple as he was walking around and doing miracles and stuff. And he had a mother just like us but it was no normal birth because it was all about redeeming us. He was the promised saviour of man. I am 68 now Peter and came to trusting the great creator almost 50 years ago. Maybe it helps me because I really do love history and reading about it. And also took time to read and study the Bible. So I understand it as a record of history not simply a record of religious stuff. Came to appreciate a lot of things about the book and how it had been carefully preserved and carefully translated. How all the details of what he taught really matter. Of Jesus: his was a virgin birth, which means it was supernatural, he was conceived inside the womb supernaturally by the Spirit of God. So if I was a scientist or chemist then I would really want to assess his DNA. There are a lot of things about the history of Jesus that are incredibly interesting. Have you ever read the Bible for yourself?

Awfully slow and boring. Nothing but that woman and one man or another. Every single scene. The man she was going to marry gets run over by a car. After that it appears she punishes herself in grief with a suburban life married to a stranger, confused, looking for meaningless distraction, on occasion. She does not have a clear sense of meaning to start out with. So when her fiance is killed there is nothing left that she would recognize. I regret having wasted my time on this worthless slow nothing. People drifting, philosophysing and doing things with no sense of meaning.
