@@sarahhamdan5470 That’s the thing with baking though, the rules are meant to be broken. The rules are there for people who have absolutely no clue how different elements work (like which ingredients are for leavening, what’s to add moisture, what’s to ensure integrity, etc.) but once you really understand those things there’s no reason not to deviate from the recipe. And even if you aren’t experienced, most of the time these “hard and fast” rules won’t ruin what you’re making, but will just turn it into something slightly different. Like how Keith’s cake was absolutely edible, tasted fine, but closer resembled bread in texture because it had too much leavening. Or how Ned’s ice cream was a bit watery and icy because he skipped on the egg yolks and didn’t substitute anything to stabilize it.
