Turning down acceleration is not only important on loose trails but also in technical areas where too much too fast can send you out of control. Combine tuned down acceleration with lower support for the most control. I have turned up my Trail assist level to around 80 % and turned down the other mentioned settings to use when things get technical in the rocks and use the top level Turbo assist when things are less difficult but steeper. This gives the specialized bikes a big advantage over others like my Trek Rail with the Bosch motor can come on too suddenly.

Support is expressed as a percentage (20%, 50%, etc). My question is: percentage of what? Of the total motor power, limited by the peak power? Or of the rider power applied to pedals? No vídeo I have seen so far makes that clear. Appreciate any light on this.

@woolychewbakker5277- from his testing numbers it's of your pedaling power - pedaling at 100 watts using 20% support, will give you 120 motor/mechanical watts. And a total of 220 (combined rider and motor/mechanical watts). His display for the test numbers do not have a total combined watts - only each separate on the display.

Hi, fantastic video. I have one question: when descending I have noticed the motor stays engaged even when freewheeling - effectively creating drag above 20mph. Is there any way of turning this off?

Good video. Would be helpful to also know how each of the settings effects battery life.

Your videos are great 👍. This is the second one I've watched and I find them very informative. I'm looking forward to my levo comp carbon arriving soon. Can't wait to get out there and hit the trails of South East Queensland.

I’ve got the new Levo Comp Alloy and I’m loving it. Does anyone know if I can upgrade to the Mastermind TCU as an aftermarket part?
@macfly10 Жыл бұрын
I was told you can upgrade (really expensive) but it will not give all the functionality like the micro adjustments, so you are better off just adding the bar mounted display from Specialised which connects with bluetooth.

@@macfly10 thanks for that. I think i'm going to ride it out as is for the next year and then trade in for the new Levo SL.

Where is this beautiful place?

I think the demonstration should have had two riders each using different motor settings and similar physical inputs from each. That would have shown more clearly the different speed you're travelling at on the different settings.
