Turkey will overcome any crisis as it is a great country, with lots of advantages, including location, climate, etc. But its biggest advantage is the Turks themselves, most friendly and hard-working people. Best wishes from Ukraine!

I love the fact that you have put this across in such a logical way. After visiting Turkey for over ten years, I took a leap of faith and purchased a villa in Calis, in November 2021 with a view to spending more time and my hard earned British pension in Turkey. In my personal opinion, Turkey is on the up and the Uk is quickly going downhill. It took two weeks to purchase a villa in Turkey, 3 months later in the Uk I am still waiting for a property sale to go through - enough said ! Like yourselves and many others, we love Turkey and will be supporting the place we now choose to call our spiritual home.

@@YazziesWeirdVids To be frank, I understand what the west is going through. But Turkey suffered much more than western countries because of political islam and islamist cults. For instance, the British Inflation is at 9,1% while the government in Turkey claims that the Turkish inflation value is at 63%. Which is also a lie, the real inflation is closer to 135%. This happened because interest rates were kept low in the face of inflation in accordance to an “Islamic” teaching that says interests are evil. And the government supresses those who speak against this madness. These cults and the politcal islamist government ransacks the rights and money of Turkish people with the mask of religion. And we can’t do anything about it because the goverment owns everything from law to media.Unfortunately at the moment, Turkey is in a very similar shape to pre-collapse Soviet Russia. Hopefully in the next elections we will see a change in the ruling party.

I've seen many negative postings on youTube recently, it's nice to see someone speak up for Turkey, but I don't see the need to talk down the UK at the same time. Especially when Turkey are in a really difficult financial position, and are fire fighting to get out of it. The UK are still still seen as credit worthy, not just by me, but by the credit rating agencies, and by most of the business World at large. I had the same thoughts regarding Tourism, I'm sure Turkey are really missing that income. I will be their in about six weeks, and I'll make my small contribution to their economy. Wow I really wasn't expecting such a great and optimistic analysis of the current situation in Turkey. We are just constantly pumped with the negative and don't see the positive aspects, that being with no thanks to politicians that aim to gain ground by simply demoralising the nation to gain votes or other radical anti-government figures. People in Turkey are losing it these days over the prospect of the lira and the economy in general and even though the situation is bad, and criticism is a necessity, its really hard to explain that there are good things happening too and it seems that Turkey has a solid and ambitious plan to take this nation to another level. It's getting really hard to have a logical and objective discussion with people on these matters as everyone is aggitated but we have to see what the Turkish government is trying to do here in the long run. We may be facing some tough times now but like you Mick, I really believe this great country is heading for a better future if only we are patient and don't lose hope.

@Another Day Another Septim Hhahhahahah...! You must be one of those waiting for the year 2023 to see Turkey fly. Don't forget that this government has so many plans since they have come to power. Are you worried about your country and it's poor, hopeless, helpless people, or your cult?

@@Hibrahim1 Your support of failed government is unbelievable. You must not continue shoving an undemocratic, divisive, thug like government through people's throat even if the growth rate is 100 percent. This excellent phrase is from OECD's site: *There is more to life than the cold numbers of GDP and economic statistics.* According to its "Better Life Index", Turkey ranks 37th among 40 countries. The ideology of the cult you're a member of will eventually disappear, because it has no place in a civilized world.

@@ozoguls60 You keep talking about a cult when your aggressive tone is an indicator that you are one those devoted to a much more cancerous cult that actually exists! A cult that talks to a dead man and thinks he will probably come back to life as a messiah of sorts and shoot lazers from his eyes and destroy all scarved women and bring some over-estimated Western life style which can save our nation from everything. That's all you probably live for. You talk about divide but the people who chose to create the cult I'm talking about, around the man who actually saved us from the West, brought the greatest divide when they persecuted the people who wanted to stick to their culture, their religious dress code and live their spritual life in peace. They confiscated their right to education, to work, they started the Kurdish problem (which by the way is over if you haven't noticed), they started Turkey's economic, social and political strife, and in some cases even killed those who said anything against their facistic rhetoric. Who the hell are you to judge when your ideological past is so dirty. Plus, I for one don't even see this government as a representative of my ideology, I just choose to see the positive things they have done and hope to see my country prevail because they actually achieved things others could't. You speak as if Turkey used to be Switzerland and now it's Mali. When was Turkey actually more democratic that it is today.
