I actually think it's kind of cool looking, but I'm not sure why they went through the trouble of making the pushed look like they are screw down, and then not follow through with it. The lume is impressive considering how small the indices are. Great review as always, Jason!

Yeh, couldn't agree more! Either make them screw down or lose the effect of it. I was happily surprised by they lume too though, theyve really nailed that

I like it, a little bit fussy but pretty balanced design overall. Case shape is interesting. It didn't need the rotating bezel though. Saw the RZE you posted on Instagram yesterday - 😍. Really looking forward to your thoughts on that one.

Think they could have gotten away with a Tachymeter bezel to be fair. Tom, it's bloody amazing mate! I'm actually in love with it

The dial is very busy, too busy for me. I can appreciate what they are doing. I like the date indicator, it’s nice to see something other than a standard date wheel. Happy new year mate.

I think it's OK to call it hybrid because it does distinguish that it is different from a standard quartz chronograph, but vintage quartz watches were also part mechanical.

I avoid a fussy dial like the plague but this is just inside my made up fussiness limit and looks really good. The squared off sub dials are sweet.

Great looking watch, like the dial and and the date feature, don't like the fake screw down pushes, just think it's a bit too expensive even with the extra specs over a Seiko for a non brand, Kickstarter with a VK67. Earlier this year I picked up a SSB031P1 with basically the VK63 movement for a rip-off £170 inc vat from the US from a global online retailer beginning with "A", because it was one of the last new ones and I really wanted it bad, just love the dial and proportions, but it had been as low as £120 a few years back, and I just got a SRPF03K1 samurai for £252 inc vat from a UK AD, so £288 inc vat for this, comes across a little steep to me.

Definitely lots going on, but I do like it....the date function is pretty cool and I the case shape is great....they have done a cracking job with the lume....it pains me to say this but the price is fair for what you are getting 😁....all in all a very good daily sports and every mm counts in this bat shit crazy world of horology....😂🤣😂🤣

It's a very nice looking watch. Not to busy for my taste. I don't know if it's worth the price, I think I'd rather spend my money on an actual seiko for that price.

Jason, glad to see you on the mend. Question on the sundials. Is that subdial at 9 an accumulator, or does it just mimic the hour hand. You know me, I hate the v63 and the v64 for that reason. (I think those are the model numbers)
