GOOD TIMING for this video. I'm Asian, but I have Black clients with Natural hair and one of my clients just asked for this haircut. Also, THANK YOU to the channel owner for being INCLUSIVE with the content and not just featuring Caucasian hair.

Thank you for posting this. I lost my mom this year and the stress of that has taken a toll on my hair. I need a refresh like this. Thank you!

Lovely Danielle. Thank you. May you please, please do a basic cut tutorial (normal shaping ... something like yours) using same hair length (medium) and texture as mannequin's?

Hey, I just popped in for a little refresher on cutting a short Afro for my friend. We are both older and she just wants a comfortable cut for under her lovey wig, maybe for around the house as well. I loved your partings. I will follow your cut except not as much weight on the top. Thanks for sharing.

You are the best; I wish my stylist had seen your TWA before I let him touch my hair. Thank you for this class on ‘How It Should Be Done’✂️👩🏾🦱

August 6,2024 @10:15a.m. How do I get the cut that the stylist has? I have trouble describing to stylist how I want it cut, they act as if I am crazy. My hair is naturally curly and I think I can try it myself. Thanks

All hair gets cut wet. What makes our hair any different?
@bonnielarson643111 ай бұрын
as a curly haired girl (69 y o) I can answer. Dry cutting helps the stylist be aware of the curl pattern of the hair as they cut. My hair is distinctly curlier around the nape of the neck, distorting many styles. The hair on the sides and the top have their own patterns. Part of the top of my head is much straighter. Plus, my hair is very fine, breaks easily, and there is not a lot of it. I’m going short…..

I know your comment is old but damn near everything makes our hair any different lol.... but the simplest Is our shrinkage and volume our hair literally transforms phase by phase so cutting when it's wet and at it's finest shrinkage will have you messing around and come out bald or with a botched cut lol plus when it's cut dry it helps eliminate more split ends or uneven cuts in one consistent cutting process instead of having to go back in once you've dried and straightened the hair cause now you will see the messed up or uneven spots clearly
