not proper test, results will be wrong! you picked 18volt 5ah and on 40 volt you picked 4ah. for proper test you should picked 40volt 5ah. there is huge difrerence there is 2ah or 2,5 ah they are ddiffrent, 18 volt had that 0,5 umpf , there is 3 types of battery now in makita 2 and 2,5 and also battery wityh F marking which basically if it has F on 4ah it will be similar to 5ah in power. 2,5 is better than 2 so here will be 4 and 5 ah , in this test you could say 18 volt is cheating while placing better battery while 40 volt can do similar

@Arturas1244 Many thanks for the comment and the suggestion for improvement! The battery cells and the arrangement of the cells are decisive for the peak performance of a battery. Not the capacity! That is an important difference! In terms of performance, the 18V 5AH should be comparable to the 40V 4Ah, as both are 2 layer batteres! :) That's right, the new F batteries are more powerful, but as I don't have them yet, I couldn't use them in the test. Best regards
