In his speech, Traore criticized African leaders for being puppets to the Western world. He accused them of being too willing to follow the dictates of Western governments and international financial institutions, and he argued that this was preventing Africa from achieving true independence. Traore also criticized the West for its neo-colonial policies in Africa. He argued that the West was exploiting Africa's resources and keeping the continent poor. It’s high time to look at each country as a whole in our government as aid to military is being sent to these countries. Education, Schools and Social issues should have been discussed in the last century and for sure in this 21st century. I’m shocked that all it’s been is militarily! You can not improve a country if you don’t feed the soul of its people which encompasses all issues! Theirs farming and cultivation projects as well as manufacturing that should be implemented along with its peoples education and schools, medical facilities, and social issues addressed! People come together when they have no poverty and theirs food and learning in the community and spirituality. Do it right the first time or not at all!!! God bless all of us to do the right thing for the betterment of humanity.
