Really jealous of the English right now. There aren't any American fighters that can compare to Tom Aspinall. We got Stipe Miocic. But Tom is so good on the microphone, and he's probably the best UFC fighter in history. I already think Tom is vastly more skilled than Khbabib, GSP, or Jon Jones. None of those guys had any ability to finish a fight, and if they did finish, it was always a drawn out war of attrition.

I wasn't in a position to see the live fight and saw a few comments elsewhere whining about an 'early' stoppage (was a bit bummed that the win might not have been 100% legit). Just watched the finish in slo-mo before coming here and think Mark Goddard was 100% correct to call it. Curtis might have been awake, but was losing brain cells without any meaningful defense. Ref has a duty to protect him and made the right call.

One of the most humble heavyweight or mma fighters around. No bravado or hyberbole, just likes the art and physicality of fighting (in a sanctioned sport). When he knocked out Sergei, he moved up to another level. Sergei had been moving up the ladder by knocking out his previous opponents. One thing about a match with Jon Jones is no one has ever tested Jon's skinny legs. Someone with the same height and reach but with a heavier leg will definitely have an affect on Jones. Aspinall can definitely touch jones with combos.
