The issue with influencers is that they are ordinary people who, if they were not influencers, would be unlikely to have businesses, or be CEOs, or have any kind of role that requires having business acumen, so when social media catapults them into being business owners they lack the requires skills to do it properly, they have zero business smarts so make absurd decisions or totally lack any kind of moral compass as they are just seeing $$$$. Basically greed is the biggest issue with influencers. It drives all their dumbass decisions.

She IS a horrible monster trying to pass herself off as a person. She has been screwing over women, other brands & has basically been a runaway train filled with explosives heading towards any women that have a good following since day one. She even put a video out with her supposedly having a mental melt down to get sympathy saying she had mental illness ( panic disorder, anxiety, etc) to further manipulate followers. She is a flesh eating bacteria. What she did to her husband was beyond cruel & she was mind Fing him for years, RIGHT UP TO HIS END. She lied to him the whole time he was in rehab & then he comes home to find ALL his belongings gone, that he wasn't living there anymore & his FRIEND and his WIFE were TOGETHER. He relapsed & was using within a month. THIS was told by John himself. WHAT kind of a creature does that?

I actually supported Jaclyn after lipstickgate because I believed her BS. The last thing I got from her was at her jewelry launch. I got the solitare necklace, wore it for like 3 hours, didn't get it wet at all, and then months later when I went to go wear it (I really only wear jewelry for special occasions, I have super sensitive skin so I'm just not a jewelry person) I saw that *literally* every single link in the necklace was rusted. Every last one. But it's really bad on the parts that were around my neck. By the solitare (what would sit on the chest) it's only rusted where the links connect, but around the neck the links are basically fully rusted. I emailed them and they offered to replace it but I told them I didn't want another rusty necklace and they literally never replied. So that was fun. Tbh I wasn't a huge fan ever, I did have both of her bigger palettes with Morphe and a few items from Jaclyn Cosmetics, which Jaclyn was only ever the face of, but the new owners denied her contract renewal so who knows what's happening there🤷‍♀️ im glad I didn't give her tons of money, but im more annoyed that I ever believed her lies. She manipulates tf out of her audience and it feels crappy knowing I was manipulated and lied to🤷‍♀️

I’m not the biggest fan of JH. But in the spirit of playing Devil’s advocate. The whole food stamps things has been a topic for a long time. People seem to think that coming from well off families means that you won’t struggle as an adult. That’s just simply not true. I am someone who personally came from a family who isn’t wealthy but definitely not struggling and have always had the means to provide. I grew up with lots of things and pretty much wanted for nothing. I was on food stamps more than once in my early adult years. There was a time in my life that I would go to work as a hairstylist assistant and pray to make $20 in tips just so I could put gas in my car to make it back home and go to the grocery store to buy a dozen eggs and packs of top ramen. Because that’s all I could afford to eat. Those times sucked.. but I’m also so thankful for them. They taught me so much. And if my family had bailed me out, I wouldn’t have learned those lessons and probably would not appreciate the money I make now.

Exactly. It's not hard to believe she was genuinely on food stamps for awhile being that she was the main bread winner working at MAC and her husband had addiction issues and didn't have a steady job. Also, that partially explains as to why she was so much skinnier back then versus now - it's because she was broke. Being broke basically kept her skinny. And let's be honest that she probably spent a lot of the money she'd earn at MAC on material items rather than food as she seems like someone who has always prioritized material things.

I am allergic to nickel and that’s usually the component that turns skin green. Also makes the ‘silver’ tarnish and go black or dark. Marks the neck or fingers and leaves a nasty green-blackish grossness Nickel content is a very cheap ingredient and there can be 85% nickel and only 3% actual silver!!!
@Sweet_Tooth_Art
@Sweet_Tooth_Art 11 ай бұрын
It's actually the copper in cheap jewellery that makes your skin green. Most cheap jewellery is nickle plated copper. The thin layer of nickle wares away pretty fast exposing the copper that then reacts with the oil of your skin and goes green as it oxidises.

I think we've all tried a hobby or loved something and eventually the same passion we had for it at the beginning dwindles. I think that's perfectly fine and normal. Sure most of us don't have the funds to make it into a business, but I could think of a dozen people I know right now that would start a business creating something they love if they had the money and ideas for it and they could just as easily decide it's not for them later on.

It just seems that even though she has been in therapy for a long time concerning some issues, she just isn’t that much of a happy person anymore. I don’t know if it’s because of her lies or all the money and lifestyle she lives but something has been off for a long time with her and she needs to take time and reflect and humble herself. I think her “boss bitch” attitude in the beginning made her fall because of the mindset she put herself into. You can’t just become a CEO and not put yourself into the work and let everything go while you just sit on a throne showering yourself with diamonds and money while telling the people putting money in your pockets basically f you and that’s what I feel like she has done time and time again. She has refused to address a lot of stuff and when she did there were lies. A business should not have this much drama going on period.. I just hope that she has learned from this and will strive in the future

I lost my boyfriend of 15yrs to a hit & run less than 2 miles from our house so I feel her on her loss. I still struggle to get through each day. I cry everyday & sometimes I don’t even get out of bed. My boyfriends name was also Jon so that’s weird. I’m definitely not a fan of her but my heart goes out to her. I wouldn’t wish this type of heartbreak loss grief pain on anyone❤✌️

Babe I’ve been watching some of your vids lately because I’ve been feeling self conscious a bit and they help so much ! But what also helps is to know that YOU, of all people, would suffer with being self conscious sometimes too ?? Like how ? 😂 You’re literally the beauty standard ! And you seem like a genuinely caring and funny person. So it makes me wonder “well if SHE thinks she’s not absolutely beautiful sometimes, maybe I’m not that bad either ?? 👀” Loll anyways keep up the good work love ❤

A lot of phrases I heard from Jaclyn over the years: I’m a CEO, I fired a bunch of people, My team…part of success is being a leader and not a boss. And being a leader means you succeed with your team and you fail with your team. Morale and direction come from the top. If she decides to continue her makeup brand the first thing I would suggest is to understand what it means to be a leader. To instill trust in her team to do what she hired them to do. To understand they are trusted advisers. She also needs to earn trust from her team. Leadership is a very difficult role. And until she understands what being a leader is about, she will not succeed.

2011-2016 me was a Jaclyn fan!! I remember hopping on her band wagon from the start just by chance coming across her videos early on. Those were the days. By 2016, it wore off and she wasn't the same I could tell. And then after that everything started coming out, issues, etc and I was like thank goodness I jumped off the Jaclyn train. So devastating.

Jen Jerard, of Jerard Cosmetics, just made a post on the evergrowing /r/JaclynHillSnark subreddit. She talked about how Jaclyn tried to ruin her and extort her for $250,000. She will be coming out with more of her story next week. Marlena Stell of Makeup Geek has already done so on Kendall Rae's podcast. She also has a recent scandal with Koze for stealing someone else's brand then dumping it. This goes deeper than we know. She's no angel, and no one is perfect, but this woman is calculating and enjoys trampling on other women to get a leg up.

Im glad shes nose diving. Im shocked ANYONE supported her years after lipstick gate. 15:14 is a kardashian move. Triggering people to hate watch AND BUY to prove a point. Like hating the product. Its a real psychological thing to obsess and follow someone you dont like. Look at how many women follow their exes😂 or a girl they dont like. Its emotional manipulation at its finest.

I think she COULD regain her followers but only if she owned up to her wrong doings/greed AND genuinely apologized to Marlena & Kaitlyn. She could own up all she wants but until it’s proven that she genuinely apologized to both of em and made things right with them, I won’t be able to believe she actually has any integrity and kindness. She has proven too many times that she only exists in Jaclyn’s world and she can stay there but I will gladly give my money to someone else….as will everyone else.
