I wouldn't call that stream ugly by any stretch. Sure it's not in a completely natural setting, but few are these days. Happy birthday as well👍 I think our birthdays are pretty close actually... Must be something about being born in the middle of winter that makes people want to fish😂 Nice trout! So, are the browns stocked too? I'm guessing they'd be more likely to holdover from season to season than rainbows, but just wondering. Glad to see you fishing👍👍👍

Stocked as well - that one was in really nice shape. Doubt we had any holdovers in that stream with the low water conditions. And I guess Ugly is relative. Thanks for the birthday wishes - and Happy Birthdayday to you too then!

This video was I think 6# Nylon (the only BFS reel without braid out of 20+ right now!), but I'm usually in that 6 or 8# range. Most of the under 6# stuff is either wicked expensive, or just plain wicked! Poor knot strength, weird break offs, etc.
