Watching this video while drinking coffee 😂 more seriously, just found out your channel and it’s really clear and helping me to get on the right track again, I feel like people (included doctors) give us a lot of bad advices and I just get lost and tend to stop trying to get better… so thank you !

I can’t say I’m free from pcos nor do i 100% have it, but recently after some consultations with a doctor, we’ve discovered that i have the tendency to get a pcos. I have weight problems, irregular menstruations since school, and im a sponge - i get stressed easily and absorbed other people’s stress. I dont rely on coffee/caffeine at all but i just crave for those special drinks sometimes. I’m still struggling on the right diet and i of course lack exercise. Sigh

I might mix decaf in with my reg coffee to slowly cut out and switch to green tea. I knew I most likely would have to. Coffee is so nice to keep the depression away and get the workouts going. And it tastes so good! Oh well, it’ll be worth the weight loss. Thank you! Great video with good info!

I feel more relaxed after having my tea but anything more than two cups of tea or coffee will give me jitters and anxiety I think moderation is the key
@dorkygyrl2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this in depth explanation Tallene. Funnily enough, coffee isn't for me anyways as I can drink a cup of coffee and fall asleep within 15 minutes of consuming it and stay asleep. Plus, I LOVE to douse my coffee in creamer and sugar to the point I don't even taste the coffee. :P Unrelated question. I have been feeling sad lately, having to give up both gluten and dairy. I've started and stopped and started this process for the past 5 months. Have you ever gone back to eating them sparingly during special occasions, holidays, or even while on vacation? Or do you stick strictly to gluten and dairy free. What about lactose free foods? I--and I am sure others--would be extremely interested in seeing a video discussing this matter. :)

Did you see any changes in your symptoms ?? After going gluten and dairy free?
@dorkygyrl2 жыл бұрын
@@ayeshaali16 i actually accidentally discovered i was intolerant to both gluten and dairy. not even joking, a *week* into cutting dairy out, my bacne (back acne) diminished and went away. there was no more new painful acne forming. the annoyance of having to clear my throat CONSTANTLY from mucus went away. the bloating of my stomach went down, then completely stopped. my stomach stopped gurgling at night. with gluten, the heels of my feet stopped hurting and i could walk without pain. the pain in my wrist stopped. both of those were caused by inflammation. my serborric dermatitis (really bad dandruff caused by excess of oil on the head) went away. the pain in my lower back went away. i stopped being constantly lethargic. it’s funny. noting all these down just reminded WHY i’m doing it and why i have to stick to it. as soon i introduced gluten and dairy back, ALL those symptoms came back. cut it out, symptoms stopped. i have a LONG way to go with keeping up and practicing a gluten/dairy free lifestyle. but i think i can do it this time. long time health benefits FAR outweigh the satisfaction of a piece of bread. and honestly, the inflammation and pain is not worth it. 🥰🥰
@PCOSWeightLoss2 жыл бұрын
I definitely weigh the benefits of eating gluten/dairy and not. I never feel like I’m depriving myself at all and will occasionally have a bit, but I know that it may impact my symptoms, so I always keep that in mind! 😍
@dorkygyrl2 жыл бұрын
@@PCOSWeightLoss thank you for replying. the benefits WAY outweigh the risks. i just need to remind myself that there are alternatives for the foods i do miss. and most importantly, eating it once in a while is not necessarily a bad thing. 🥰🥰
@dorkygyrl2 жыл бұрын
@Okami Amaterasu haha. i get it. it is *tough* to give up something you love, that’s in most things. if you can, try to minimize how much of it you eat. and note down if your body reacts differently when you eat it vs. when you avoid it. 😉💚

I usually have 1-2 cups per day but when my coffee gets low I only have 1 cup because I use it in the morning when I have my collagen powder. But I have always felt very relaxed and calm when drinking coffee, tea and even hot chocolate, I have never groggy, jittery etc. so am I missing something or is it possible that these beverages don't affect my PCOS symptoms like they would possibly others??

That turned out to not be such a great idea as well because it actually gave me tons of energy but nervous energy and now I'm having difficulty sleeping at night. What should I do? Anyone have any ideas for a morning meal that will give me energy but not cause anxiety & weight gain?

Hello, I'm a new subscriber. Earlier i used to have 3 cups of coffee everyday. But after my diagnosis, i completely cut down on coffee and felt sleepy all the time. Now, I've a very important exam in the last month of the year and i need to have coffee. So i usually take a cup a day or sometimes even spearmint tea helps. So is it okay if i take only a cup everyday? Also, drinking coffee does not affect my sleep, i fall alseep as soon as I'm on my bed😂
