"God's judgment is weighing on our countries." That's true, at least. When Israel turned away from God, God withdrew His protection and blessing. We should not expect better. As they went into slavery and exile, so we are falling into slavery and having our countries taken away from us. We need to call for repentance and for people to turn back to God. We need to pray for the Holy spirit is give us another revival and to convince the people again of sin, or judgements to come and of righteousness only through Jesus. Never before have we needed the call to 2 Chronicles 7:14 so much: "14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." We have had Marxist deceivers systematically take over education and journalism and the media in general. When we were supposed to be sending people to win the hearts and minds of others for our values, the authorities have been letting people turn the hearts and minds of generations of our own children against everything that is good. We need to pray for more and more people to wake up themselves and wake up the ironically named WOKE, before it is too late and the world is under the worst tyranny in history. The church of God has to advance standing for the truth, and advance on its knees struggling with God for His mercy and His blessing.

@@misst.e.a.187 Probably, but they were all united within a single organisation, and the Eucharist was presided over by a Bishop who was one of the Seventy who had received the commission from Christ himself. Later on, presbyters were appointed on the authority of the Bishops to be ministers of the Eucharist in their absence. The early Church was not a collection of autonomous house churches. It was a single body whose leaders gathered in synod to ensure unity in doctrine, teaching and liturgical practice.

Oh my gosh,this new Islamaphobia law is dreadful, far worse than I could have imagined. I am a Christian and very concerned for this country. I fear that the Lord has handed it over because of the rejection of most of the people. I am in a church in Lincolnshire and we have only 10 to 12 people on a good day. Another one has 8 usually. Hi Chris, we have been doing house church for over 20years for all of your above reasons. Much fruit came from it. In the form of prophetic songs that are becoming more relevant as the time goes on. We were a very close group of people, especially the ladies. But right now we need a new group as several have gone on to be with the Lord. Where Jesus - and therefore God and His Holy Spirit - is in these little house churches, there is God’s power at work. If we as small house churches keep strictly to Scripture and we continuously repent and pray and fast, God through Jesus will fight our spiritual wars for us AND HE’LL WIN ! Bible believing Churches that have Bible study groups , strong elders and deacons are set up for house churches . Our roots are to grow deep down in Christ . Prayer Groups are vital. My Dad had a friend who was a holocaust survivor. She eas Jewish, but after a miraculous escape from Germany and the kindness of many neighbours when she arrived with her mother and siblings as penniless refugee, the family became Catholic. She always said that many people don't have the confidence to stand up and speak in front of others. She was convinced that this lack of boldness was a big issue, because if people couldn't ordinarily find the courage to speak in front of others, then how would they do it in an oppressive atmosphere. She spent much of the rest of her life teaching public speaking. So training and discipleship will be ital, whatever model of church people are using.

Yes to this! We have a house church in my village which God Himself orchestrated. Bringing each of us together from different local churches to go to war in prayer once a week, it’s a heavy, encounter filled night. We even take it to the streets some weeks. But we definitely need more people on the ground. The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few - Luke 10:2. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? ‭ - Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬ Let’s rise up!

I've long felt that Christians need to think about (for want of better phraseology) being part of small, supportive Christian friendship communities that, organisationally, operate below the government's radar (but as individuals continue to be salt and light in this world, and serve other believers). My question to Christians is this: If your church building is forced to close, what is your backup plan to ensure continued fellowship with other believers? Some folk reading this may think -- oh well, not to worry, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I beg to differ. Jacob Parashe talked about house churches popping up and these house churches are thriving across the world. I was woken up in the night and heard the words 'God's wrath is coming', driving into church I heard this ' sound the alarm'. Whilst talking to another friend at church it came to me it is the church. I belong to a good church that keeps to the Biblical message. The Lord is coming after those churches.

As an encouragement, may I suggest that people (if they are not aware) look into the Welsh revival of 1904 to see just how quickly and completely God can turn a society back to Himself. the Swedish Christians take to the Cities and sing their beautiful songs, i've watched them and they are doing so well. I want to start a house church and to go and sing those songs as i used to many years ago with friends and with a guitar on the streets corners. loved that. i do bible study alone as i am 67 with medical conditions, and can never wake up in time for church. I have been all alone in England for almost 10 years now. I would be happy to open my home for the house church!! My family used to hold prayer groups at our home all the time (and not the wishy-washy-lets-not-scare-anyone types). We saw many miracles - I’ve even witnessed how a big group of people got fed from a small plateful of sandwiches and there was lots left afterwards. We saw the revival in individuals, churches and eventually that all led to the collapse of the Soviet Union and my countries freedom was once again restored.

We have got houses for prayer . Home groups are everywhere, Kingsgate Peterborough began as a home group, its now a church with congregations in the thousands and have planted others throughout the country. It’s the CofE that has lost its way. Free churches are leading Christianity out of the mire in GB.

I would draw a distinction between Christianity and religious institutions in your oil tanker analogy. Because churches are apostatising, this does not mean Christian faith is going astray. Otherwise there really is no point in having house churches. We need people that will stand firm and not change course or be moved. I went to Caesarea Philippi where I saw water pushing stones in the stream and this is where Jesus said to Peter, I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. Matthew 16:18 And in Ephesians 6:14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled round your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place. I agree with your point of being house churches. In China the state re-writes the bible and sermons to fit in with state doctrine. Only in ones own house can you read and learn true Christianity and that is how it has become here. I met Justin Welby some years ago at Minehead Spring Harvest and he said there that all the things that he was supposed to have said were manipulated and out of context and he asked me to give him the benefit of the doubt, which I did for a time, but truly I have found that he cannot be trusted. We are now in that time when the gates of hell are open and no barrier is there to prevent a deluge of false and antichristian teachings beating against the church. They are in and and running the place. But going back to Peter. I went to Capernaum and saw there the Synagogue. What happened there in that synagogue? because very close by was Peter's house which became the first church of Christ.

I've have been involved in house church for going on 40 years now. The problem I have found is that house churches are just as susceptible to the pitfalls of typical denominationalism. This nation is not in need of house churches but is in dire need of the return to the Lordship and Headship of Christ. Out of that union, let the natural course of true fellowship take place.

I know that this is counterintuitive but that is our God's way! House churches got us where we are and it would be house churches that gives the Holy Spirit , once again, the chance to lead and guide the body of the Lord to glory. Hi I am 73. I haven’t been part of a church congregation for over 20 years. The problem I find with churches is that they are too busy trying to convert the worldly wise, instead of seeking those who are in need. I listen to Matt Goodwin yesterday. I don’t think he’s a Christian. But he understood the divide between those in control and the rest of society. Within church there are too many Pharisees who want the admiration. Too many Marthas criticising Mary. Too many worldly wise. Too many with hurt feeling. Too many instead of denying self pandering to self. What makes you think house churches will be different??? I am not criticising because I haven’t heard a preacher like for a long while.

I'm sorry you haven't been part of a Bible believing Christ loving church for so long. Sounds like you had a bad experience in an unchristian church, as was being detailed on this video. While no church is perfect, because non of us are , to be part of a church or Bible study/house church group who truly know and love Jesus, and therefore love each other is the most amazing blessed place one can be. Big picture is our eternal destination , little picture is living for Jesus now and knowing Him now. May I humbly suggest you start reading your New Testament now..followed by the Old. That in humility and repentance you ask the Lord to come to you by His Holy Spirit and you seriously hunt for a Bible believing church. Then not only will you be blessed but you will be a blessing to others. Please do not allow 20 year old experiences to determine your relationship with the Lord. Jesus was not a liar. Heaven and Hell are real places. His love and forgiveness are real too. Where do we stand in relation to the Creator God? Christianity is not some human construct for the good order of society. Although when God's ways are embraced and people's hearts changed society is blessed. You took time to right your comment , may I suggest you take time, serious time, to go to the cross, your life depends upon it. The Lord be with you.

There might have been time I back slid but HE brought me back. Covid was a time of refreshing and I saw how our Heavenly Father worked in our lives. He brought my son back home who helped me tremendously and I received HEAVENLY PEACE. This is the fourth year running I have read the whole Bible in a year. Every year I read it there is a new theme. The first year it was the importance of HIS NAME. The second was how importance faith was. Also somewhere in between the 2 there was HE is the same today as HE is yesterday as HE is tomorrow. He is consistent. He is constant. I suppose Isiah has been opened up to me this year. I substituted the name of Judea and Israel for the UK. My goodness couldn’t I see what had happen to these two countries now happening to us. As for the churches they were Christian churches. The first particularly. I live near, if not in Bunyan country. He was actually arrested a couple of villages away. Pilgrim’s Progress was a main stay of the Church. The next two churches one was sticky toffee. Not much substance. The last was a house church. I don’t know??? However, within these three churches, over a period of twenty years I never felt accepted. There were other reasons why I left. I suppose one of the big reasons was my x was not a believer in fact he was very anti.

I've sat and watched this coming about for years. The church that I attended closed years ago and sad to say but Iam still without a church. I would really love to attend or even begin a house church. I live in Nottingham if anyone is looking for the same thing.🙏🕊🙏

I totally agree brother, as a nation we are going into captivity but the 'church' in general can't see it! I believe it will be more like 5 years max, rather than 25 years before we become a muslim state. We have been preaching this on the streets for the last 5 + years but people, especially luke warm Christians think we are mad. It has been so frustrating to say the least. This ain't a game! It is the spiritual life and death of our nation that's at stake. We need to rise up en masse! Come on you brothers and sisters! Get out and spread the good news... .stop being cowards! The cowards are the first into the lake of fire (Rev 21:8) Don't stand before a righteous God empty handed, don't bury your talents and risk being cast into outer darkness with the hypocrites!! We all need to spread the message and share this to other alternative influential channels. I'm angry that England doesn't have proportional representation like Wales and Scotland. We have to rid ourselves of this current govt that did not have 80% of the population voting for them! The only way is to recall our corrupt Liebour MPs in every constituency - I believe we need 8000 people in every constituency to do this! This is a way we can bring down this crooked tyrannical govt!

In many ways, the best time to speak up, is early on, before additional restrictions come into place, before smear campaigns and labelling morph into dehumanising. The church cannot be 'unequally yoked' when it comes to political movements, so the challenge is how to come alongside the individuals involved, in an appropriate way. It really does seem that many are more open to the gospel because they realise that somewhere along the way our nation shed much of its Christianity which was actually so important both in terms of direction and identity.

I totally agree, and is why i left a large CofE church last December. House churches aren't necessarily the way forward. I have found refuge in the Orthodox Church. It is Christ centred, holy worship and cares for your soul. The dogma is just like evangelical theology (though the praxis may not be) and i have met many holy, Christ-loving people! Woke just not exist as it won't be tolerated!

That’s great - until the government close you down! We don’t all need house churches immediately, but at some point your congregation will probably need to meet “under the radar” in house gatherings. It’s good you have a current spiritual home, but maybe God is wanting us all to pray about the future, and I believe Chris Wickland’s message here is sowing some good seeds for coming years.
