Right. I feel like there's nothing an undeveloped person can give to a grown adult that another consenting and aware adult can't. Even if they do seem "mature for their age" or they "look older than they are". Kids often don't understand the gravity of any situation that they're in and it's disgusting and unfair of sick adults to take advantage of that aspect.
@davidalan528
@davidalan528 3 жыл бұрын
Bluntly, it’s the youth itself that they see. They’re not looking for the qualities offered by a consenting adult; those are too mature, in form and thought. They want children and young adults for the ease of control, the malleability, and frankly the physique. Don’t look for rational rationale (if you will) from someone like that. They’re not looking for what healthy people seek in a relationship.

I do agree with you to a certain extent like he definitely didn’t help Joanna or her family but although he’s a creepy man, like yuck being attracted to a child as an adult is so many levels of wrong, he didn’t deserve the physical and emotional abuse he was given. It sounds like he developed Stockholm’s syndrome and battered wife syndrome (if men can get it) which is truely abhorrent, no person no matter who they are deserve to be treated in such a way. In saying all that I just hope that their daughter can move past her parents and become the person she want to be.

To be entirely honest, I find it hard to feel bad for the boyfriend. I feel awful for the kids and all the trauma living thru having her as a mom and not having a mom, and then the publicity of the case. But let's remember he's a groomer. It doesn't matter if he ended up being the one who liked her more and wanted to be with her, he dated a 14 year old. I just turned 20 myself and even dating a 17 year old would make my skin crawl. He dated an actual child and was instrumental in her running away from home and being homeless for a year, so I just can't feel bad about her cheating on him. His ordeal regarding the children was sad, but it doesn't forgive what he did at the beginning.

Offering housing to help people, often people that were released from jail or had a criminal history THEN asking Joanna to help him evict people in a manner that was intimidating- encouraging her to continue not only to be aggressive and intimidating but involved in criminal activity 🙄. "i have no idea what a 20 year old man sees in a 14 year old girl" sadly, he sees a vulnerable person who he can easily manipulate and control. that's usually the case with situations like this. the fact that he "waited" until she hit the legal age of consent is concerning enough (i don't believe he waited tbh) it means he knew she was too young for him, but he went after her anyways. adults who "date" minors much younger than them are disgusting. there's so much mental and physical development that happens when you're a teenager, and these gross predators can have life-long negative effects on the young people they prey after. btw, i don't mind the multi-part cases. it means you put extra effort into giving us every detail about the case, and it really shows in the quality of your work. love your video as always! even though they're so heartbreaking and horrible, they remind me to cherish the good people in the world

How the first victim was found to humiliate him reminds me of how my uncle was found when he was murdered. He was stripped naked and thrown on a front lawn of a house on a busy street, the killers have never been found and convicted (even though to us as the family we know who it was) It’s an unsolved case in Australia that has never been mentioned as an unsolved case here.. I’ve tried getting the story out on KZbin channels like this even with little information we have about the woman we know had the biggest part in it but no one ever covers it because there’s nothing online about it so everyone thinks it’s fake.. our family who were changed because of this have almost all passed, I just know our family will leave this earth never getting answers or at least some help on finding the people who were involved in the murder and bringing them to justice.

It greatly depends of the personality disorder. Cluster B personality disorders are usually emotionally unstable. This includes borderline personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder. I have avoidant personality disorder which is a cluster c personality disorder which are usually characterized by extreme shyness and fearfullness ect. I don't let people near me (I have never had a relationship and I'm soon 35 years old) and I only trust my family members. It's sad that there are still a lot of people who don't understand that not all personality disorders are alike. not saying that you don't understand that but I have seen a lot of comments on youtube assuming that every personality disorder is the exact same, when there are a lot of different ones.

So many people will stop being my friend because of how.... erratic I can act when under severe stress. I initially went in for a diagnosis for BPD so imagine my shock when I hit every criteria for 3 different personality disorders, only to then be told I'm also autistic. I know my experience is uncommon, even the psychiatrist remarked that they don't normal diagnose people with multiple different ones but he was at a loss for what to do with me. I think personality disorders are so misunderstood and under researched that they just don't have understand everything that there is to them. I honestly believe that with more research I could end up being diagnosed with just one personality disorder, maybe a new personality disorder they haven't discovered yet, maybe they'll name it after me lol, I know for certain I at least have BPD because that's the one I feel the most affecting me day to day. I love Eleanor and her detailed information in her videos. She is always so respectful to the victims and families. Her disclosure at the beginning is another example of how she respects victim and the subject matter.

Does anyone else see her going cold turkey when pregnant as such an insight into her character? As in idk it made me feel really sad, that she could show that self discipline and restraint when it came to the health of her baby growing inside her but she couldn't do the same just for herself. She put her babies first they were the priority when they were inside her and once her habits wouldn't directly affect the health of the baby anymore she went back to her old ways because she deemed herself as less important and clearly couldn't cope. Feel like everyone is forgetting she was literally groomed and abused by a paedophile, was homeless for a year, and became dependent on drugs to deal with that. That to me is a very valid and understandable reaction to her life experiences and situation. Not the murder. But just up to her children and the breakdown of her relationship, HE IS A NONCE he groomed and abused her AS A CHILD AND REMOVED HER FROM HER FAMILY. I don't care if she shagged half of England, that's absolutely irrelevant compared to what she was victim to. That just really knocked me for six.

Alll this! a troubled child, encouraged to leave home and live rough by a grown man, who then chose to impregnate her twice. The fact that she self harmed extensively as well as having addictions and mental health issues...wow she needed so much help, and didn't get it

Kevin Lee doesn't seem to be the white knight he's being portrayed as in this video. He used a position of power to start a relationship with a vulnerable member of society, then bribed her with gifts, all whilst being married. If he was caught doing that whilst alive, he'd have lost his job, and probably faced legal repercussions.

37:00 okay but if you self harm from a very young age it’s very common that later in life it will develop into a kink. They just develop from childhood experiences.

This is case is from my hometown, I remember this all happening whilst I was at school. I was actually friends with one of the victims son. I really struggle to watch videos on the case as it’s all very close to home and makes me feel a bit sick but Eleanor, as always, carries it out so well and this is the first time I’ve managed to watch a video all the way through about this case. Thank you 💖

She has no obligation to have her videos out when it suits you, she puts some amount of work and research into her videos to put out high quality content that is enjoyable to watch, she’s got a life too you know she can’t just sit around putting out videos because it suits you she will upload when she wants it’s her channel you know where the unsubscribe button is! Her actual supporter don’t mind how long it takes her… she’s literally just made a massive 3 part video

She was a very pretty girl as a child and even as young woman, it's unsettling what happened with her because it seems to come out of nowhere. As for the father of her kid, as much as usually such an age gap is a huge red flag in this case he seems like a decent guy who truly fall in love. Which is a good thing for her daughter that she at least has one good parent who cared.
