It's obvious the learning will never stop on how to use these platforms and truthfully that's where the people we are working to engage are located. Congratulations on the Raptors victory! Cheers! 👍

I truly appreciate how you guys share the love. It is so encouraging to see others that recognize Jesus has only one Body, and that it ultimately and eternally does not matter what the name over the door of the building you worship st of a Sunday morning. All too many still have the "Field.of Dreams' mentality--if you build it they will come. Someone actually said "Go into all the world." I admit being biased. A little.

I’m hooked on all your info. Just signed up for nucleus. Questions regarding this topic (I haven’t found them anywhere, but forgive me if I missed it). How often should you post? I’m coming into a church use to several ad style posts a day. Can I use stories more than posting? (One post a day, but a few fun story videos or engagements) regarding things looking the same does this go for insta? Most of the trend I see is themed content. Mixing template style post with straight photos.

Thank you guys so much for this! This was God sent. We just had a team meeting and I was assigned to look for a way to schedule posts! 😂 Can you pleeease do some research (or in Brady's words, "investigate" lol) on photo backdrops and parking/greeter signs and share your tips on these two things? (props, suggestions, guidelines, etc.) I want to grow and advance our background. I have noticed that there are awesome backdrops that ppl use for interviews (ie, sharing testimonies, going live on IG, year in review, etc.) and I'm at a lost about how to make quick, multipurpose backdrops that can be used for social media posts and film. For example, the modern look is very simple, or a step and repeat is great as well. I've seen rugs play as the floor, but I like to get resources to to help me with more fresh ideas. I feel like an interior designer, lol. We run our church service in a community center gym and the walls are red (we also have to be out by 1pm for open gym lol) this makes our posts challenging from red overload. There is also another church that rents from the auditorium so the lobby is not accessible. I don't know what material to use for a backdrop to break up the color (vinyl or polyester), or determine the size of the backdrop to help add a different change of scenery of any of this makes sense! lol If you see VOUS Church, they set up backdrops that they constantly set up and break down but they serve as great backdrops for photos. They also hold some of their services at high schools. I also see a trend of churches using church signs, business cards, the options are endless! I created a few myself, but any suggestions or guidelines would be so appreciated! Thank you! (Sorry for the long message!)

thank you so much for this great post, but here is a fundamental question: when you say you want us to post these, so they show up in our congregants' feed, do you mean post these "as our church page: fb or instagram", or as individual church members/staff as personal posts? Because if they are posted only from the "church" page, how would we reach those who are not in our church? or is this more about maintaining our congregants, and then they are the ones who would spread/share the posts to their networks...

Great tips! I've heard that Facebook's algorithm punishes posts that use "engagement bait" and actually ask for people to comment below or share a post. Does this happen with the examples from this 7-day calendar? Or are you only including this language in the videos themselves which allows you to navigate around the algorithm's punishment?
@prochurchtools5 жыл бұрын
The Village Nashville Great question! Generally, we don’t use that type of verbiage in the captions - only the image or video content. That usually ensures no penalty. Another trick, if your church is noticing long-term drops in engagement, is to simply use the phrase “we’ll post our answers in the comments below.” This doesn’t ask anything of the user, but accomplishes the same goal of increased hover time and engagement in the comments.

Would.it be possible to repeat on a larger scale? Say recycle a visual once a month (with a shift on content)? Do folks catch patterns over that length of time?
@prochurchtools5 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't do that! People will pick up on it and your engagement will drop.
@jeffstormer25475 жыл бұрын
@@prochurchtools I was just wondering if that pattern would be recognizable to people--a "visual repeat" once a month--given how much other stuff they'd see in the intervening 4 weeks. Some "themed" material might be expected: Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, maybe some other holidays...but that's why I asked. I figured you all would have a better grasp on those kinds of stats than I would. Thanks!
