The Ultimate Animal Jam Iceberg Explained

Hey, this is Antoxtrr, the iceberg's creator! I put up this iceberg up on Fandom as a WIP after making it out of boredom (I'm not sure if it was even finished when I put it up loll). I didn't expect it to get anywhere or be seen by anyone, but HOLY HECK! My heart skipped a beat seeing that you posted this. You made this video so well and went over everything in so much depth and detail! The amount of effort you dumped into this was incredible. Seriously, thank you! I was somewhat unclear when typing some of the entries on the iceberg, so here's a little bit of clarification: - "Euphemisms" refer to Jammers in-game using words to replace other words they'll get in trouble for saying. For example, when people want to talk about the Animal Jam wikis, they'll often say "tiki" to not get their chat restricted. They'll also shorten words like "cross-trade" to simply "cross," etc. - "Reporting doing next to nothing" moreso refers to the rumor of reporting being ineffective. It's difficult to tell what gets communicated to AJHQ when a Jammer is reported, but there's been speculation about the report queues are too large for AJHQ to keep up with, or even that reporting does nothing at all. - "Null" is a term often used to mean "without value" in computer programming. Occasionally, looking at a player's card would show that they're in "null's den," which was a simple glitched. It creeped out me and a lot of my friends way back when, though. It's kinda amusing looking back on it lol - "Songs," while also being den music, was more supposed to refer to the songs that can be found in places such as the Sarepia Theatre, such as "Geckos!" and "Modern Major Kangaroo." - "Lilglazed" was a Jammer on AJPW who duped a lot of items during late 2020 if I remember correctly. They caused a LOT of commotion on the AJPW Worth Wiki, and many people stopped trading for a while out of fear they'd receive a duplicated item. - Leilani's items were also discovered by using the chat item search feature, with users actively searching for "rare" versions of preexisting items that were unreleased. - Pyrocryst and the RGB glitched items were very closely associated with each other. The majority or all of Pyro's glitched items followed that same pattern of red, green, and blue. I personally believe that this is similar to the magenta items glitch on AJPC--except that AJPW's default item models are red, green, and blue rather than magenta. - "Pack run cheats" was more about the potential of primarily leaderboard pack members using external programs to cheat through pack runs. As a former leaderboard pack member, I remember members getting ridiculous amounts of points (170+) during runs, which caused me and other members to raise some suspicion. - The "inappropriate file names" refer to the names of files that were accidentally shown during an AJHQ livestream. There were some game files shown on the computer with really off-putting and explicit names. - "Inline emotes" were an old feature on Animal Jam Classic where emotes would appear within the actual message itself, like an emoji. Now, they appear solely outside the actual text in their own thought bubbles. - I don't exactly remember what I meant by "2012 hat," but I'm pretty sure it was a glitch on AJPC where the top hat item would display on animals as a hat that said "2012" on it. I tried looking it up, but I had trouble finding anything on it, too. - The "multiplayer minigame inaccuracies" are more about how when playing a game with another Jammer (such as Stack Attack), it occasionally says that both players won. I learned this by playing Stack Attack with my sister next to her, and it gave different results on both screens. - Joshua F. Olmos and Maximo K. Olmos are presumably the composers of most of AJ's music. Iirc they also worked on music for other WildWork's games such as Feral. Again, thank you for this! I absolutely loved watching you review all of the entries on this iceberg. Keep being awesome!

@@starrycat127 i used to love watching julian2 when i still played aj! coincidence my brother's name is the same as his channel although the a in "julian" is an e, making it "julien." eventually like 4 or 5 years ago my account got hacked. it used to be my brother's account and when he grew out of his phase and didnt like the game anymore he let me have his account. his account had unlimited membership, etc. (i cannot remember much because it was so long ago. his account was also on the classic version, too) that is all i have to say, hope everyone in this world has a great day!

52:54 !!The music on spotify. A strange thing to note is that these songs have lyrics if you look in the lyrics tab while listening to it on Spotify. Someone on the animal jam reddit page posted screenshots of the lyrics of AJ Melody - The lyrics were in Swedish and read along the lines of : "Flute, flute, flute, flute, more flute" (repeatedly "Why did you even click on the lyrics? There is no text! Hmm... What did you think it would be? Some subliminal message? Flute, flute, flute ...What am I doing with my life?"

Added some extra info about some things :D 17:24 The "twelve" code came from one of the books AJ made called "Animal Jam Official Insider's Guide" where you had to solve a puzzle to get the answer 12. 20:35 On Classic, there was also an icy blue color you could get by clicking in the bottom left 22:33 You could also get gems and a pet joey (kangaroo) from this app :D

Okay, quick history on the 12 code. So in 2013, Animal Jam released a game guide, which had an activity where you had to count how many times Liza (the panda alpha) appeared in the book to give tips. She appeared twelve times, so the code was twelve. And this was when diamonds were first added so they were a huge deal, and getting one diamond was like winning the lottery!

2012 hat refers to a glitch related to the fancy top hat. if you were a tiger, wore the hat and did the sleep action, "2012" and fireworks would pop out of the hat. Inappropriate file names refers to 2 files with inappropriate names shown during an official ajhq live stream AnimalJammer330 was an old AJ youtuber and jambassador, she was friends with other old notable jammers such as Julian2, Snowyclaw, Bepper, Twinkle0122, GummyUnicorn, WisteriaMoon and LoveNarwhalAJ. She was also known as Wolffeycat. i dont remember anything else about her tbh Buddy count glitch, i remember this one quite well, basically to do the glitch you had to send a buddy request to someone who was offline and then fil up your buddy list. The person who was offline will receive a JAG with the buddy request and upon accepting it they will become buddies with the other person. The person who added them will receive the typical "buddy added" pop up and the game will tell them they have -1 or -2, etc buddy slots left And I also want to take this as an opportunity to talk about the Medical Center. Back in 2010 the Medical Center had a red cross on the sign, this means Animal Jam violated the Geneva Convention and therefore committed a war crime. Also the Medical Center and Pillow Room co-existed at the same, I've seen people saying the Medical Center was removed and replaced with the Pillow Room but that's false. They co-existed HOWEVER it was later removed from the game and the Pillow Room took it's spot when the Solar Arcade was added since there wasn't enough space for all 3 building. And finally; the music in the Medical Center is kinda messed up. you can find an upload of it on youtube.

The absolute worst part about Animal Jam classic is that most people don't have $1,500 laptops. Most people start out with like a Chromebook or something and I literally just go to $400 Chromebook and I can't play Animal Jam classic. I'm stuck on the mobile version so it's like even people who play on PC and laptops and stuff. You need to have a good laptop and I don't just mean a good laptop. It has to be like over $400 which is crazy because this game is so simple they should have made Animal Jam classic mobile just like they did webkinz mobile they made like both versions of webkinz on mobile

this is honestly the most in-depth iceberg about animal jam I have watched compared to single layers on separate videos, remembering back from the 2010s to now, the massive wave of nostalgia from the time where the game is beta, to how modernized and challenges faces such as that quackaty raid, popularity down falls, failed projects (rip fer.al, honestly an awesome game), and even a data breach, yet the game still surprisingly stands firmly on ground. others such as content or such the files has inappropriate names, some livestreams (well forgotten),and some sus problems (hackings/exploits incidents), like theres been some full grown adults going for childrens, not sure why but do know they are creepy. wildworks do admitting neglected their moderation systems to the point they finally took actual actions when the data breach happend, which sounds like they done it too late :/ in truth you done some extreme work on the ice berg and i gotta say is very impressive by a long shot.

Last time I played this game was about five years ago, and it was the highest point of my childhood. I remember that there was a complaint system people would use to get free items from (you could submit a complaint about how your spike collar was scammed from you, and you'd get one in return or something), and those rumors on how to get free diamonds by jumping in the diamond shop with a fully white animal or something. 40:46 Third party programs, essentially. I don't play AJ anymore but I accidentally got involved into a decently sized hacker and scammer group on Google Hangouts in 2016. I don't remember the exact method step by step how it worked but there was a little program/code that somebody made into Cheat Engine. It would scan source code from the AJ classic google chrome tab and in those little files you could find the ones for your AJ avatar and you would change the color values to 0,1,2,3 etc up to 9 and you would press Ctrl + [number] on your keyboard and it would give you a certain color but you had to be in mud first in order for that to work. You could also do Ctrl and the - or + button on the keyboard and the command would make it so that you "add" or "remove" more mud (eventually you could make yourself completely invisible if you wanted to). Not sure about the forcefield effects and all that jazz. I also learned how to change items in your inventory through Cheat Engine to weird or magenta colors through a similar method since each color value and item on AJ is/was assigned a number, but it wasn't a permanent thing, other players couldn't see it and it would be gone by the time you refreshed. Don't know why they were always so sneaky about this info. I mean I practically had to beg my group to give it to me lol I guess maybe so it wouldn't be patched so quickly, but yeah that's how we did it back then. Just thought it would be interesting for people to know since I was in many parts of the Aj classic community.

29:26 I had already made a comment about this previously but I thought I should go into more detail and in depth about this issue. Id first like to note that I am indigenous, i grew up indigenous, I'm aware of my history and practice my culture best I can. While I don't speak for every indigenous person, I feel that an actual indigenous person whos educated about their culture should chime in to help educate those who aren't. The headdresses are a major problem in the community, not just because of the item itself, but how the community reacts to those who criticize it or those who wear them. Ive been harassed, sent slurs and have been sent death threats whenever ive talked about this, I probably will again in the replies-- but someone needs to say something and its sad many popular creators in the community don't do or speak up about it (no shade to you leamon if you are reading this) Anti indigenous ideology and racism is so incredibly common, disrespect to natives and other people speaking over us or not listening is insanely common, and encouraging that behavior in a game full of kids is even more abhorrent, we shouldn't be teaching casual racism to kids-- that harms real life people. But im getting ahead of myself, why are headdresses bad? Well, firstly lets go over what a headdress, (also called a warbonnet) is and why they're portrayal and use in game and in the community is highly insensitive and disrespectful. Headdresses (war bonnets more accurately but ill refer to them as headdresses for consistency sake) are like crowns in a war, worn by highly respected leaders of a tribe, they're highly spiritual and of great importance, only people of such high respect can wear them. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_bonnet if you wish to learn more, go to here! This is why wearing them when you are not native or disattached from the culture is highly disrespectful, its as if you're telling those sacred and important figures that what they did to earn that right was unimportant, that they are not important, its like spitting on their graves-- you wouldn't wear a fake indian costume on Halloween, so why would it be any different on a video game? The fact its treated like a commodity to get your hands on, like its gucci or supreme to flaunt your status is absolutely appalling-- it isn't respectful at all, nor is it a celebration of native culture, its a distasteful and insensitive game item that people use because they dont genuinely understand or value our culture or beliefs. I could make many more points about why its bad but I'd be here all day so ill end it here and explain further if anyone wishes to ask questions.

First off Nice work on the video!! ^^ Second; Oddly The first thing I noticed from the thumbnail is that the wolf with the red black and white flame colors and such looks like how I used to me all my old skins I used to always make my wolf like looked like that because I thought it looked cool and those are my fav colors and when I saw it I was like “woah what??” Bc I also remember there being another jammer that had the same one that looked similar 🤷 just thought that was a fun little thing, I’m not sure where or who that skin was from (in the thumbnail) ofc or even if it’s someone iconic I just know I used to do that bc I thought it looked cool granted I think I had my eyes red but made them white or vise versa not sure I was pretty young when I played the game 😅

This is a long video! To be honest ever since I joined the Animal Jam community I never knew how great the game is and how bad it can be at the same time when I first tried I never knew about the dangers animal jam. I just thought it was a safe game but now since I’m more older and played the game for like over five years, probably there has been many severe problems in the game like hacking scammers, inappropriate jammers, such as Aggrix. I never liked animal jam classic that much to be honest because a lot of things with remember and nonmembers didn’t get that many benefits but I prefer play wild better even though Animal Jam classic is the OG play wild is still a bit better in my opinion. I Animal Jam has been a nostalgic game for me. I do really enjoy it and I still do to this day. It has always been a fun game to play especially with your friends and becoming a part of the AJ community feels very great too. Ever since I joined KZbin and making content, I thought happy that people liked what I liked, and people like to see my content. Thank you for explain this deep iceberg. You truly put in some dedication on making this video. Keep up the great work, Leamon!! ❤️✨‼️
