When I was buying my first Apple Watch, I visited my local Apple Store to try all the models, sizes and colours. I went in thinking I’d prefer a darker colour, but wasn’t sure of model or size. I actually ended up preferring the lighter/smaller one, so got myself a Series 7 Nike 41 in Starlight. I tried the Ultra, but it looked much too big on my wrist. Thanks for the content.

Highly resistant. That DLC coating is solid. I’ve bumped mine a couple of times and it was spotless..

@@srikanth85in true, every time i bump the watch into a wall i just wipe off the scratches and it goes away it does more damage to the wall rather than my watch

Glad I waited to upgrade to the 2nd gen I lose a sensor but the color and small changes makes it worth it.

Not at all. It will take some really hard gouging on something sharp to scratch it.

I was looking in store today at various smart watches , i haven’t had a watch on my wrist for decades, and have never owned a smart watch , watching all the videos for the different watches , i was still kinda leaning towards the apple ultra watch , though i had been checking out Garmin and pixel watch’s too in the store. I carry an iPhone but also own a pixel . Looking at the Ultra watch in store , i thought it would be bigger , when you look at some of the other brands watches , some of them absolutely dwarf the Apple Watches , the pixels too. I kinda favour the big watches , because I’m old and a fairly big dude too and with old peepers as well , so the bright screens like the apple ones seem to be a bit favoured for me even though , the actual screens don’t really look huge. Dunno , it’s a tuff call , i do like the idea of having all the apple features that work with the iphone, Apple Pay , fall detection , etc . Speaker volume is also a point , as you get older , everything tends to not be as good as it once was . I may have to flip a coin 😊.

We really need you to step up your camera game, James. I’m no content creator, but I sure do watch a lot of KZbin videos and your videos appear sorta low effort. I’m not saying you’re not giving it all however that’s how it looks like from the outside looking in. I feel like people with better looking videos get more views especially in tech. Please don’t take that the wrong way I like your stuff maybe I just wanna see that passion from the past! :)

The Ultra 2 black uses PVD and no DLC coating… not that strong , high end diver watches use DLC Coating.

I was quite surprised when I saw that gray box contained an Apple product. 📦😱‼️🩶 Apple is changing so much now with their presentation. It almost doesn’t even feel like Apple anymore. But I will say I do like the design of the interior of the box. First, the Apple stickers are no more now that the boxes are diminishing in quality. 😢 What a world we live in in 2024. 🙏🏻 Time is a cruel mistress indeed. 😅
