Absolutely top advice. Been following you for a long time The only issue I’ve had is an over draw. But now incorporating a more cock up with my right hand as I was only pushing down with my left. Keep it going Stu 👍

Just love how you teach the golf swing. Every video I watch I make sure that I give it my undivided attention because I don’t want to miss anything you say. My knowledge and understanding of the golf swing has increased exponentially since your channel. Yesterday at the driving range I found myself telling a friend exactly what you say on your videos. That’s when I realized that what you’re teaching is really sinking into my brain. I know I’ve said it many times before, but it’s worth repeating: thank you, immensely for the continuous education. This is not only Good Golf Coaching, it’s the best golf coaching. Cheers.

Hi Stu, just to say thanks for my lesson on Thursday, there is no way I could of started these changes without your help I played Friday and straightened up my shots immediately, only one time in the round did I forget, shot 8 over with a 4 putt and a bit of nerves at end of the round, understandable , also played yesterday shot 3 over in stableford for a .4 cut to 3.7.so so pleased I took the plunge to come and see you, and if anyone else is contemplating going to Stuart, please go you won’t regret it I promise you

Morning Stu, I’m finding this series really helpful and a good reference as I work on stuff - I have a question; what is your method/thought on making the handle slow down into impact to allow the head to ‘overtake’ and swing at the ball from the inside - I feel like I’m pulling the handle past the ball and it and the head are travelling at a similar speed - my video kind of shows this up as well. Cheers, Dunc

Hey Duncan hope youre well... The left leg pushing the left hip behind the golf ball at impact which will help you buy more time, load the shaft more and feel that the left shoulder and the left hand can brake harder. Hope that helps?

Hi Stu loving all these videos and looking forward to a new Season with my new modern swing. Can I ask, at the top of the backswing what would you say the split in body weight should be? I feel I have a lot more weight on my left side, maybe 70/30
@GoodGolfCoaching10 күн бұрын
70/30 Is perfect my friend, keep doing it.

From my perspective, you can keep these explanations of what's going on as complicated as you like coach. Most tuition on the golf swing over simplifies it. Almost ready to go again 😀

Hi Stuart. Loving your content, really looking forward to implementing it better! Just a quick question, related to downswing, in the early part of downswing you talk about getting arms and trail shoulder forward. Do you mean out toward ball target line, or forward closer to target, or both at once? Sorry to be dense but I just want to be sure what you mean. Thank you!
@GoodGolfCoaching11 күн бұрын
Richard, no question is a silly one. Shoulder must move to the target line and toward the target. Hope that clears up your question.

I think I get it. The shift forward target wards of the lower half ( represented by belly button) in the backswing must be off set by the shift back away from the target in equal measure with the upper half (represented by the sternum) to maintain balance during the swing . This allows for greater consistency by not coming off the and losing balance which is ket to consistency. The point being is that the bottom of the swing arc will now be in front of the ball as you approach impact in balance creating consistency and the much sought after ball turf contact.

And enabling more speed with your right shoulder and opposition to the handle pull with the left leg. 😊
