Great ideas and tips! A good tip I follow is to sometimes use several smaller boards to add accompanying items and to isolate ingredients you may not want to mix (your butter boards would make a great accompanying board!). This also allows for setting up boards at different heights to add more eye appeal. Great job as always!😀

I completely agree! Using several boards helps create visually a larger charcuterie board but with options to organize and separate things (especially for OCD people like me 😄🤷🏻♀️) thank you again for your suggestions and ideas !!! :)

Looks amazing! Thank you. Just one question, how would one devour the Salami flower?
@nayadskitchen Жыл бұрын
Lol 😆 great question! 😄I’d say there are many ways! Here is some… You can put the whole flower on your plate and eat it one “petal” at a time 🤤, or the whole thing in one bite, or cut it in half w a knife … or squeeze it so it gets tight n small and take bites! 😊
@gullinvarg Жыл бұрын
Because of the way they're made, it's pretty easy to pull the petals. You pull them in the order that they were put on the glass. The rose actually keeps looking pretty good until the meat is almost gone.

So, I love that you are able to share all this amazing food. Do you bridge these videos with a party event? Not only is this a tax write off but you get to double end it too. 😅😜 Looks so pretty and tasty. 🥰
@nayadskitchen2 жыл бұрын
I wish I did 😄 at the moment, we just eat it throughout the week (or in some cases days or a day) depending on what it is. One day I hope to bridge the two 😁

Hi Happy New Year What size is the large board What size board you would recommend to feed 60-70 people with the handle Thank you
@nayadskitchen Жыл бұрын
That’s a great question Anita, it depends on what size boards you use and how much you place in them. The one you see I used here is a Boos Block cutting board size 24x18. my recommendation would be to use two or three separate boards, that way it’s easier to manage. You can also make one veggies only, one all cured meats and pâtés and one with fruits and sweets for instance. If you use one of this huge boards and two regular smaller ones, that should suffice. So by using several boards, you can space out better, manage it better and say you are running low, you take one of them away to re fill while the others are still there. Hope this helps!

One observation from experience, don't do too many meat roses. A lot of people won't eat them because they look too pretty.
@nayadskitchen Жыл бұрын
Lol that’s so true! Or maybe don’t make them so pretty so they get eaten fast 😅
@gullinvarg Жыл бұрын
@@nayadskitchen I generally do one big one on a glass and maybe 2 or 3 of the little ones where you make a chain of 4 slices folded in half that are nested and rolled to make the rose. Sometimes just one big one is sufficient.

“Charcuterie boards are among top food trends to watch this year, according to the National Restaurant Association's What's Hot 2023 Culinary Forecast. Listed as the top-ranked appetizer of the year, charcuterie has a long history, having been invented in 15th century France.” If I were you, I’d apologize to this lovely content creator and delete your comment.
