i found changing my 3d settings to what most channels recommend, high power etc etc it actually lowered my fps from 795 to 630! leave nvidia on default and just change from quality to performance

For me dude, based on my experiences playing this game in 4 yrs now. I have a good smooth game but fps is my problem. If you have pc is crap( lown specs) cs 2 is not for you. You need a better pcs

I have a i5-12600k, and a 3060ti and i get 170fps on 4:3 with low settings, ive followed countless videos and nothing is making my fps change. Even playing native resolution i get pretty much the exact same fps i dont understand

@@mark_stacks i wouldnt say its laggy, im just not able to get anything over 170 fps. Even on high settings at 16:9 1920x1080 my fps is the same as 4:3 1280x960 which makes no sense
