The modifications Jesse Kirkbride did to the FatherV2 ANH version alone is worth the $10 for the font. Those new accent swing pairings are soooo good. I actually went back and re-watched the darth vader scenes in ANH, and compared to Jesse's soundfont mods. They are so close/accurate and so well produced. For folks using these fonts on Proffie, these are the WipeOut/WipeIn values Jesse uses (Lando goes over them for the CFX setup, too. Thanks Lando!) ANH is 600 out, 1000 in. ESB is 1000 out, 1060 in. ROTJ is 300 out, 1000 in. R1 is 1000 out, 450 in.

Thank you so much for the heads up and review, Kyberphonic makes great fonts and this has got to be the ultimate Vader compilation! If the Pach Store ever brings back the Ultimate Works MPP v1 and I'm fortunate enough to grab one, this package is going to be showcased. Also, a must have for an Vader collection is the duel font from Mountain Sabers called "Father and Son Rides"...it's Vaders Tie Fighter and Luke's X-Wing from ANH!

Hey Lando. I don't know if you've messed around with the motion settings in the config file but if you go in and change hclash (clash threshold) to about 550 I've found it a lot easier to trigger clashes when hitting the blade or hilt with your hand. I think on my vektra it came set at 850. So I lowered it quite a bit. I've found at 550 clash is a lot more responsive and you can still swing it hard without it doing any ghost clashes. Just a suggestion.

It's all personal opinion but for me, JEJ's voice was at its most powerful and intimidating in ROTJ. The guy just growled those lines out like a lion gargling Jack Daniels.

In the Father_ESB font, I want the quote, "Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father" to play first, followed by "No, I am your Father." So I was going to set the first quote as my font.wav, and the second as a preon. But I realized that won't work, because a preon always comes after a boot. So the only way to do it seems to be to ditch the preon, have the first quote as the font.wav, and then the second quote as a boot. However, for that to work, I have to restrict myself to only one boot sound, and I don't want to have to do that because I have a number of quotes that I want to use as boot sounds (which don't play sequentially). Any thoughts/suggestions? More general question: Is there a maximum number boot and pstoff sounds CFX will play, i.e., will it play the first few and then ignore the rest after a certain number? For example, if you have 8 boot sounds, will it only play say, the first 5 and ignore the last 3?

All Kyberphonic font updates are free to those who bought it previously. Find the .rtf file that was provided when you bought the font and click that Dropbox link, it will take you to the updated version as well as the V1 version.

Do you have any knowldge/experience with modifying the smoothswing/Accent swing values on a sound fonts config file? I have a Proffie setup, and CFX just seems to be so much more user friendly in that regard. I know with some of KSITH's fonts you can tune the sensitivity of when accent swings happen as well as other options. But im not really sure what I would need to change the values to. Just curious, thanks!

I recommend Bendu Armory’s blades if you live in the US, make sure you get the 1” diameter version though. You could always hit up Sabertrio and see if it’s covered under warranty and they may replace it.
