Silly question but just want to make sure that I don't mess up: the cold butter, is it slightly softened and cut into pieces? How long did it take for butter to be less hard when it was in the mixer? I want to make sure I don't rush :) Thank you!

In case you don't get a reply from the content creator before you're ready to bake- from my observation, it looks like the butter was cut cold and firm then added to the mixer which softened it near the end. Not sure of the time it took to get soft though

Weng, is there a reason you used cold butter vs room temperature? Every cookie dough I've ever made called for room temperature. It makes creaming the sugar/s together easier. You kinda through me for a loop there, lol...
