My old gym in Auburn California had that same Hammer Strength leg machine, I believe it’s called an H squat. I used it a few times but was always afraid after an intense set I would fall off the steps because my legs would be toast. So cool to see in his shed, Donnie Thompson’s the man!

That Leg Machine Donnie has Is awesome. This gym for training athletes in Cincinnati on the Kentucky side across the River Called ASAP - Athletic Strength and Power in Covington KY they have two of those. When I first went there they had one but that was 17 years ago.

I've seen a similar leg press at a gym in Spain that was even wilder. You had to climb to 2,5 meters or maybe even little higher. It made absolutely no sense to me. I was too afraid to try it out.

Oh god, that mention of finger crushing made me nauseous. One of my sons smashed his fingertip years ago in the gym with a dumbbell, they had to staple it back together. Weirdly enough, it isn't noticable anymore, but damn it was nasty.
