My own two cents I remembered loving videos about Ipets and really wanting one for myself. I finally got an Idog Clip a few years ago... then promptly abandoned it when we moved house because it kinda sucked. A Bluetooth revival of the line would be sick. I loved BFDI and its imitators as a kid and honestly BFDI proper still holds up. BFB became far too kiddy and corporate after a while but TPOT has been a fun ride. I remember watching Dafawfulizer's countdowns of SML videos more than the actual SML videos. I remember knowing Tobuscus was popular (probably mainly thanks to Jacksfilms) but I didn't watch him. I think I remember watching a whole WiiLikeToPlay series on Castle Crashers. My middle school used Brainpop a *lot* and I've gotta say, it's a really good site for introducing subjects to people. I also remember loving this puzzle game on the site about mechanical replicas of human organs. Wait wasn't Coraline released in like 2016? 2017? The Big Friendly Giant and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were written by the same guy? I cared about the Dress for like... three days at most. I remembered it earlier this year and deduced that it blew up because it was one of the worst-composed photographs of all time. I was team blue and black too. I remember young me thinking that Cyriak didn't actually make MEOW due to how drastically different the art was from his other videos. Even young me thought it felt too normal for his content. I always wanted a Pillow Pet. The one I got was small and had a plastic cover on top, which projected a starry sky on the ceiling when turned on. Couldn't even be used as a pillow smh. I remember Domo turning up in a Venturiantale video or two.

The fact that Fur Affinity was on this iceberg and not the trauma one is pretty surprising considering that Deviantart was on both. To this day, I still get flashbacks to art from the site. As a furry, I decided to go visit the website. I visited it several times out of curiosity. I was then met with a whole lot of fetish art. Like, think of the weird stuff you'd find on Deviantart and make it AT LEAST 10 times worse and throw in a bit of anthropomorphic animals in the mix. That's what Fur Affinity is, basically. So. Much. Fetish art. I mean, the fact that I have a fat fetish made it a bit better, but not by much at all. And that's not even the worst of it. There's so much more fucked up shit. What makes it even worse is that there IS good art on the site, but much like Deviantart, it's overshadowed by the fetish crap. I don't want to go too much into detail, but if you consider visiting the site, be warned: Once you've visited the site, you'll never be the same. If Deviantart is a discount Hell, then Fur Affinity is the ninth circle of Hell.

I remember following the bro code of elementary school when it came to the literature we consumed. It was always Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Big Nate, but I remember liking the art of the characters on the cover of Dork Diaries.
